A few weeks have passed and I have realized this is some sort of super-hero and super-villain world. I ended up signing up for PHO to see if I could figure out what the hell is going on with the world, and I immediately found something interesting.

Last night a large Manton field was detected outside the boardwalk where the big welcome to Brockton bay sign is. Believe it or not we have another interdimensional group of visitors.
Atleast we did, until the portals came back leaving only three people. One of which claims to be from another earth originally but was sent to their world. Confirmed to have a deceased alternate in Los Angeles who was run over by a truck in his own neighborhood. ouch. Anyone with more info about the portals, Can post here.

Not very helpful, Jormungandr. Are you drinking whatever Void_Cowboy is or are you just trolling again?

I think it's kinda funny. Even medieval worlds have parahumans. The queen lady can apparently make blades of energy from a sword and move at supersonic speeds. She can also cut bullets out of the air.

I am stopped from continuing my reading with a knock at my door.
I approach the door, and open it to reveal a man in power armor he says. "So, apparently living in the world that you did for an extended period of time can have effects from increased strength to speed to other weird effects." He nudges his head leadingly.
I nod, "Yeah, but aren't you supposed to introduce yourself first?" He nods, "I'm sorry." He says stiffly. "My name is armsmaster."
I nod, "OK, hero names, not used to that yet."
He looks at me oddly under his faceplate. "Are you implying that your original earth didn't have parahumans?"
I nod, "Yeah. this place is weird. My earth didn't have anything but normal people. and then I fall through a hole in space and end up in fantasyland. get enslaved. Save Rem, and-" I grimace.
"I'd rather not talk about that hell hole of a world."
He nods stiffly. "Very well. What powers did you get from that world, if I might ask."
I shrug.
"I've been reading about the power classifications. I think I'd be some kind of Brute-Breaker-Mover Mix. Same with Rem over there. She actually has all the same powers I do, except more."
I shrug. "maybe trump because I can learn techniques really fast and can imprint the knowledge I get into other people." He tenses.
"This ability to share your skills. Does it do anything besides that?"
I shrug "Not that I can tell and more than likely not."
He relaxes and sighs in relief. whispering something underneath his breathe that seems like "Oh thank god not another teacher."
"I guess you could say I have a post-cog thinker ability. But I have to be emotionally close to the target of the ability. It applies to anyone I consider a friend, and then their immediate friends and family." He nods. "Thank you for your cooperation."
He then hands me a pamphlet. "If you would like to come in for power testing, and possible Wards Membership, we are able to help."
He then proceeds to walk away without saying goodbye.
"That was a weird ass conversation." I say,
Rem nods. "It's like he didn't know how to talk to people at all."
I shrug, and we re-enter the apartment as I continue reading the pamphlet.
