(Scarlet's POV)
I never thought that Lace is going to show himself directly to me. That was really something I need to be aware of. He can pop out anywhere he wants. What worries me is that he was trying to kiss me.
I shook my head away as I stares at the other side of my room.
"Speaking of Lace…" He became something that when you look at him, you'll be covered in total darkness.
As if Lace was already consumed by the curse within him. It was choking and deadly already.
"Poor Lace…"
What I don't understand is, why does he badly want to take Alice with him? He knew Alice has already long gone. What residing in my body right now was a glimpse of the light she has, not fully Alice? But he was so obsessed with getting her back.
