The demon lord asked me to go shopping with him together. Since he saved my life, I can't turn him down but the four demi-humans went with us.
We strolled to the market. It wasn't the same market that I saw once in my kingdom. It's very different like people are totally scared of this demon lord. They don't dare to lift their heads to see him. Maybe he is that kind of guy but I just didn't consider it.
"Say, what would the girl like as a gift?" the demon lord suddenly asked me with an odd question. "What would a girl? Hm. Don't tell me you are courting a human girl?" I asked back as my response.
"Eek!"
"He must be."
"That's sweet. Who knew that the demon lord has an interest in a human girl?"
These demi-humans with me said so. I can't stop smirking since the demon lord doesn't look like someone who would hurt people for no reason. I think these humans are just judging him.
