X city, night.
A cold and dark cell.
There was no furniture except a chair.
A cold goddess was sitting on it. Despite of icy demeanor and expressionless face of hers, she could be called one of the most beautiful art of mother nature.
But her appearance made her look like the "She-Devil" from the deepest and the darkest part of hell.
The atmosphere of the cell became more suffocating because of her unapproachable presence. Her bluish black eyes were so cold and emotionless that it made the temperature of the room dropped by several degrees.
A body, more like a flesh of meat drenched with blood in front of her and a man in white apron was taking care of that.
"Tck.. what a pity!" the goddess (or demoness) finally said in a mocking voice. She curled her lips in a smirk. It made her scarier and more dreadful.
Her aura was getting more and more devilish and sinister. Her bluish black eyes were burning like the blue flames of fire.
He Yufan, her right hand person said with a poker face, "This spy is pretty well trained. But they are not any close to our level, boss."
He seemed quite used to her dominating presence.
"Take care of him. Don't let him die," she told in a sinister yet deep voice, "I want all those information".
Her eyes became freezing cold and emotionless again and her aura became more unapproachable.
"Roger, boss".
"He is well trained. His master should be rewarded, right??" she arched her beautiful brow, "Reward him," her sinister voice became colder and deeper.
Her words made chill run through spinal cord of the flesh of meat or the so called spy. His left consciousness was getting numb due to this.
He gulped, horror was clearly written on his bloodied face. Last few hours' treatment was enough to make him understand that the so-called 'Reward' wasn't something auspicious not at least to his boss.
"Smart", she smirked dreadfully once again but her eyes were void of emotions. It was enough make him shiver.
She turned and left the cell with He Yufan and went to her office in the top floor of the building.

Top (20th) Floor of same building,
Office Room.
The office was the most secure place in the 20 storied building. It is hidden behind a wall and occupies one fifth of the floor.
The room was full furnished with an attached hidden mini bedroom. It was decorated with dark colours mainly black. It had a nice view of the city through the only glass wall behind her desk in the end of the room.
She reached her desk and sat on the swivel chair, elbow resting on the handle of the chair, head resting on it's headrest and eyes closed.
But even though, her presence and aura was still too powerful to ignore. He Yufan started to report her.
"Boss, The spy was from Black Wind Group. They wanna steal our result of experiment no. 99B.
Suddenly the atmosphere became chilling. She still closed her eyes but anger was visible on her flawless face.
"They want the results... huh. Let them have it... practically," she told by gritting her teeth. The sinisterness of her voice was too clear to be mistaken.
"Noted boss. And according to the spy, On the anniversary of Mushi Group, they will attack and kidnap Young Miss Mu from the venue of Mushi Group's grand ball."
She opened her eyes and the bluish black eyes were again on fire.
She told in a ice chilling tone, "Get prepared. I will handle this personally."
"Yes, boss. Boss, E-1 informed. They have already selected The Golden Gate Resort as the venue."
"Hmm." she nodded and about to dismiss him.
He Yufan suddenly told, "Boss, Vice President Yao and Young Master Yao called."
She startled as she blinked once. Then composed herself as she told, "Tell uncle, I will return in two days. And as for bro, tell him I will call tomorrow. Call Han Rushi to clear my schedule and buy some gifts for Chen and Ying'er."
"Noted, boss."
She dismissed him. He Yufan left the room.
Soon her freezing aura melted away, left only a vulnerable and weak girl. The dominating and unapproachable presence were long gone.
Just left only a young girl in her late teens who craved for love and affection but afraid to be too greedy for that, tired of this scheming world and it's hateful people.
She closed her eyes as if she was tried, exhausted and in pain.
"Rest assured, Dad. They will be just fine."
Suddenly a hoarse yet lonely voice echoed the soundproof room.
