Charles stood there waiting for his King to order. He had summoned him and he was standing there for more than five minutes, Watching his king as stared out the window.
"Charles, What do you think about humans?" Adonis suddenly asked, surprising his butler.
Charles understood why his master was asking him and he replied.
"Well, My wife was a human, She was kind person, She valued the things that I didn't, Looked differently at everything in life, She once told me that her kind is evil beings, Always seeking power and money, But she also told me that not all of them are like this and she was right, She wasn't like them, But kind-hearted humans always end up being preyed on." Charles spoke in a sad tone.
Adonis closed his eyes remembering that day's events, It was centuries ago. That memory is something that he can never forget.
"Thank you, Charles, You can leave now." Adonis said, offering the butler a warm smile.
