I had just arrived at Skyhold and it was beautiful until some guy tried to kill me of course Kanderon protected me for obvious reasons. So people would try to kill at every corner so caution is a must I have to be careful to survive in this situation.
Year 4
Being in Skyhold had been a novel experience I have had at least 20 attempted murders and Jormundgand had saved me from ten Kanderon had saved me from five and Alustin had saved me from the other five although he did not seem happy about it. My affinities should be revealed soon they are usually revealed at 4.
Year 5
Don't panic come on I had to have affinities he promised they had to manifest soon this was just my bad luck playing tricks on me of course my affinities where going to manifest late.
Year 6
I looked at Jormundgand and I realized something about that I hadn't notice before he had crystals for his eyes "Hey World Eater do you have a crystal affinity," "Yes I do in fact have a crystal affinity," I started to smile "Do you have the same affinities as my tattoos," I asked "I do." Thanks god there is no way I could have been this lucky "Have you ever had a warlock before," I asked. "I have had three however none of them where battle mages they used my affinities for crafting magical items," "I think I am a warlock," I said with more confidence than I have in years "And I think your and idiot," "Hey will you at least let me try it," "Sure I'll even give you the best contract a warlock could ask for." I gave him a quartzite tablet so he could write on it it read this contract cannot be broken, you will receive all my affinities and loyalty. I did the smuggest smirk possible as he carved out the spell form that would allow me to bond with him, I signed my name on the spell for and he spelled his on it as well and then we pushed our mana into the spell forms, they started to glow and I could feel my mana increase then split into 5 different affinities. "Hah I knew it," I said. "You have got to be kidding me," Jormundgand said. "Well what are our affinities," I asked happily "We have five Planer which is the ability to create new dimensions, Crystal, Venom, Steel, and Force affinities." "Well what are we waiting for it time to start training what would you recommend for a Force affinity," "Before we work on your affinities you should practice basic spell forms." I went to the library immediately and practiced basic light creation spell forms and it was honestly hard at first it took an hour of testing to finally produce a basic light spell that wasn't to bright or dark I should really get a proper teacher. It's time to report to Kanderon about my affinities she needed to know. "Alustin come out here I know you are there," "Impressive you figured out you where a warlock, how did you figure it out," "Well I had magic and it's much rarer to have no affinities at all then it is being a warlock so I just took the likely odds." And I know because of a cosmic being, but somethings are better left unsaid "Hmmm, so you actually listened to the lecture I gave you," "Why wouldn't I," I asked "Never mind "Alustin responded "We need to report my affinities to Kanderon," "Indeed we do," He agreed wholeheartedly. For the first time i descended down the great library that was made entirely out of crystal of a bluish green shade the Library was larger than the mountain inside it and it was breathtaking hundred of thousands of books stacked on shelves and some of them where just flying around like birds. "Kanderon her affinities have manifested," "What are they," "She is a warlock and she bonded with the necklace that she had when we adopted her and the affinities it gave her are Venom, Crystal, Planer, Force, and Steel," Allston said. "That's a rare combination, I can only remember 100 people who have had that combination throughout history." "Kanderon, can warlocks develop artificial affinities," "Yes they can although a warlock rarely ever does that, most of them have small mana reserves so they just stick with what they have and in your case you should just find another partner to pact with because of how large your mana reserves are.
