Ken Hai left the reploids to getting everyone settled. Some had lost limbs, they were other disabilities, but right now everyone has been getting fed.
Most if not all of them had been terribly malnourished, some are going through surgery, due to being at death's door. It wasn't pretty. Those who are healthy are currently getting sufficient food and rest, they'd be getting new clothes and lodging sooner.
I walked into my lab to see eight pods, I walked upto the one marked KHN-01. Inside was a brown haired youth that looked to be fifteen with a bit of a baby face.
He was shirtless, the only article of clothing he has is a black pair boxers.
"Computer please release KHN-01 or X."
The glass covering the pod disappeared, glowing blue and changing into hexagonal shape as they disappeared.
X eye's opened revealing two beautiful bright blue orbs, that would entrance anyone that looked into them, he then blinked slowly. He got up and stepped out the pod.
"Morning X, how ya doing pal?" I asked with a smile.
"I'm fine..creator? Master? Or should I call you father? I can't seem to decide." said the reploid confused.
"It's fine call me whatever you like."
With a bright smile on his face he replied. "Then it's a pleasure to finally meet you Dad!"
Hearing this, the 'Ken Hai' part of me felt kind of complicated that a guy my age was calling me father, well his body and A.I is but whatever!
My older self was able to quell these feelings due to having children of my own in the past even though I didn't get to see them being teenagers.
I miss my kids.
Pushing down those thoughts, I return to X.
"So anything feel off." I asked him.
"I don't know, it's my first time in a body." he said confused.
"All right look appropriate, I'll be running some test." he nodded as his armour appeared.
It was a clearly different design, the original was way to bulky and even if reploids slimmed down during the Megaman Zero to Zx era, I think the designs could've been cooler.

"Aaah!" X extends his tongue, as I carefully feel it.
"Yep those artificial salivary glands work like a charm, now for your taste buds." I said I took a slice of cake, a sliced lemon and some fried chicken.
"Now taste test these." X picked up the lemon and licked it, his face scrunched up.
"So that's what it's like to taste something sour." he said as he placed the lemon down and went for cake, one bite and shoved the entire thing in his mouth.
He looked down to the palm of his hand a sad look coming onto his face. He looked at his bright blue tearing up.
I knew that look, it was the puppy eyes. It wouldn't work on me.
In my past life I taught my baby cousin how to use that technique. Though he was using it unknowingly....

You know maybe I shouldn't given him so much of a baby face.
"You can have cake after, now please continue eating." I told him a bright smile made it's onto his face.
He then picked up the chicken and bit into.
"Delicious!" he shouted as he kept eating more. I can guess that his computing speed is faster than I initially suspected, he was able to go into his database and figure out the meaning of the word he need to describe the taste of something, well delicious.
"Father may I ask why did you give me the ability to eat food? I have no need for eating since I'm mechanical, I don't even have genitalia to pass liquid or anus to pass feces. Why did you give me this ability?" asked X.
"Well just because your mechanical doesn't mean I don't want you to experience some of the joys of an organic body. And so says your not going to ever have genitalia. I just haven't finished figuring out the artificial semen and ovary units, yet."
"I see, than you father."
"Alright let's go for the combat test." X nodded.

Swish! swish! swish!
X evaded my blows one after the other as his left which is now his X-buster hummed slightly.
*Mmmmbrrrrr!*
I threw a left hook which he ducked to the left, he then aimed his buster at me ready to fire. I kicked his left arm upwards which a giant blue energy blast fired off.
But we didn't let up X changed his right arm into an X buster as well and he then engaged me.at close combat.
With every punch he threw, I had to dodged a blast. He even threw in some kicks to through me off.
I smiled liked a feral beast, this fight was fun, X was smiling though his smile looked more innocent he enjoyed the battle as well, I programmed in the love of battle in him after all.
Though that opinion may change once he grows up a bit more. Not in the physical sense, but mentally.
Dodging another charged shot, I announced. "Alright that's enough. At your level you'd be able to completely wreck if you went full power or if you used your armour."
Yes I gave him his armours, well just the first armour though, the others aren't complete as of yet. Especially the Ultimate armour boy that's gonna take a while.
"Now what are we gonna do?" he asked.
"Well we're gonna spend some quality time together."

"Big brother!" Qian'er gives me a big hug.
"It's good to see you again Qian'er I'd like you to me-"
"X!" she shouts as she looked up at the reploids with stars in her eyes. Oh right I showed her to him during his creation.
"Yeah he's complete now."
"It's nice to meet you Qian'er!" he says with. a bright smile on his face.
"Alright then why don't we go watch a movie." says Ken Hai.
