What happened after his statement and newfound confidence was ... pitiful.
The first thing that happened was Simon realization regarding the extreme amount of energy that would require him to get down to the lake and climb again later on. Since he was eating a bunch of fruits and vegetables, that were edible for humans according to Camille, he couldn't take the necessary amount of calories, proteins and vitamins from said food. What was worse, his body was getting accustomed to said food and the different microbial fauna said food bring with it. This ended with a weakened Simon that was forced to eat in limited time and places, since just a few minutes after eating he would be in extreme need to calm his aching stomach from tearing him down.
And if that wasn't everything, during his descend and climbs he was starting to feel dizzy, this, without being able to eat right and having to spend a lot of energy he decided to gather food, water and other resources so he didn't have to need to waste eight hours daily only to climb and descend.
However, a few problems raised during his fifth night, as nose bleeds followed by terrible headaches started to happen in a daily basis during midnight.
At first he attributed to his nose getting accustomed to the weather difference between the ground bellow and the mountain body.
Down in the forest he assumed the temperature around 26 C° to 30 C°. While the coldest temperature near the nest was easily -15 C° if not more. A curious thing was that Camille nest temperature was cozy and warmth, being near the temperature down below.
Due to this, he thought that maybe some veins or small artery's were having troubles to adapt the different environments.
However this hypothesis was thrown aside four days later after his first nose bleed, where he started having fever followed by vomits and nausea.
It that wasn't all, he wasn't able to raise on his feet as he started to feel dizzy and disoriented. Knowing something was wrong with his body, he asked Camille to heal him. This lead to find another trouble with Simon body.
Camille was unable to cast him any sort of healing spell that wasn't a regenerative one. Once she casted him this spell, she told him her new find. During her explanation she told him that any kind of being and thing from this world was able to absorb and use Mana. However, his body was unable to this, with only stimulants like the [Regeneration spell] being useful to his body, as it didn't needed something called 'Mana Channels'.
She explained him first the basics from the [Regeneration Spell]. This spell worked on the natural regenerative capacities, stimulating and increasing this process according to the input the caster use.
This first explanation made Simon thought of something that make him tremble in fear, but since he was unable to prove it for the time being he casted aside that though and keep hearing Camille explanation of Magic Channels.
These channel were something that was present ok everything, apparently. They enable the mana to get absorbed and processed by anything that posses it. Thus making posible the use of magic.
Simon, not possessing these channels, were making him unable to receive normal healing spells. Camille assured him that, although he wasn't able to receive these kind of spells, nature and druid spells would work on him. This however had a drawn back, as these spell worked on the basis of the individual capabilities, in case of Simon, if he were to lose a limb, he wouldn't be able to recover it back with these two kind of spells, while the normal ones would be able to.
Thus, he was in a hard position in both his recovery from whatever was afflicting him, and his lessons from Camille.
Although Camille was a dragon, her capabilities and skill sets weren't focused on these two branches of mana use. And Simon body wasn't something she was sure of being capable of training.
Thus, with these terrible news for him, Simon was laying beside Camille's nest on his tenth night in this world, with both brow furrowed and thinking deeply.
'Not only I am in a terrible situation, my cheat isn't working too. I only hope for this gold finger help to not be like those system that only function after it's user died of something dangerous pass to them.' During these days, he didn't forget of the supposed help he received from that God.
He tried various scenarios and situations where this library kind of thing should have shown up, if he were to follow a fictional world that's it. But none of them seemed to work.
'I regret now thinking that having a god damn library thing would help me in this situation, i don't want to die now due to an illness in another world, just imagine how pathetic that would be' With both hands covering his head as he thought of this, he let a sigh scape from his lips.
"Camille" He called out her name after a minute of silence.
"Tell me" He immediately received an answer, hearing her voice in his head.
"I'll need your help tomorrow, could you send me towards the lake and bring me back here when I finish? I need to start working on some kind of field so I can ensure my food and some other necessities, if I keep staying like I'm doing now... i don't know what would happen in a few days" He said to her in a grim tone.
Although he only wanted to stay on bed and let the days pass by, he was well aware that being depressed in this situation wasn't going to solve anything.
He knew that this new chance would have it's hardships, after all, he was still alive. He wasn't on heaven or any sort of sweet place. That God sent him in this world for a reason, and if anything was close to all those stories he read in the past, nothing good nor easy was ahead of him.
If he were to put his current situation in a more cold perspective, he was on his first quest, which was survive in this place.
' He thinks that I am some kind of transport service to him?' Camille though to herself, only to let out a sigh.
'But I guess is the less I can do for him, since I can't heal him completely' She was well aware that it wasn't her fault Simon situation, he was crippled after all. Still, it didn't sit well with her own self to continue watch him struggle to just get his food, when he couldn't even walk straight without feeling disoriented.
If she were to mock of him for his situation, wouldn't she be like those nobles she despise so much after years of travelling around this world?
"Twice a day right? Ok, just make sure to follow my instructions, we don't need you to get attacked by any hungry beast, although I can maintain them outside this place, the one's clouded by hunger won't hear me." She answered to him while giving him a warning with a stern voice.
"Thank you..." He murmured with a raspy voice after haring her Simon, he then just smiled as he closed his eyes.
After coming to his world he noticed a small change within him, nothing seemed dull anymore. Knowing that he was in a new world, that was filled with magical beings from fantasy, that spark of curiosity and excitement was reignited within him.
He wished to be able to go outside and explore, sadly he was aware of his current situation and how he need to maintain at hold his instincts.
He opened his golden eyes, that were gazing at the sky above him. A mantle of uncountable stars extend on his eyes. It was different from the one he was so accustomed to. He could distinguish two galaxies with his naked eye.
With this view, his eyes slowly closed, as another day was waiting for him.
The following morning, he was awake by the first sun rays appearing in the horizon. Moving his body still laying on the ground, he started to feel his muscles ache due where and how he slept.
The first thing he noticed after getting rid of the drowsiness, was an obstruction on his nose. Knowing that it was lost likely coagulated blood, he rise on his feet and walked towards a large iron helmet where he stored water. Cleaning his face and nose, getting ride of the small ball of blood and cleaning all traces, he glanced over a small piece of cloth to dry himself.
After finishing, he gulped down three rounded fruits that was left from the previous night. As he headed towards the nest interior.
Munching down the last fruit, that reminded him of
plums, albeit more sweeter. He raised his voice "Good morning Camille! Time to wake up, we both have a long day ahead!" As he said this, he smiled knowing that Camille had nothing to do and she could easily sleep for weeks until she needed to do something.
"Good morning, I appreciate if you stop doing that every day. It's annoying." She answered to him as he grinned.
"I'll try" Is all he said as he entered the large circular hall where she rested in.
As his eyes rested on her large body, he quickened his pace towards her. Skip over the weapons, gems, rocks and all things around the place.
Sensing his body standing in front of her, Camille opened his right eyes, as she took a glance of him.
In her current size, even her eye alone was enough to dwarf him, with her reptile slit being near four times his height. Mind you that Constantine, for Earth standards was a tall person, with 193cm.
Smiling at her presence, he opened his mouth.
"Hi there, how was your night? Did you sleep well? Something interesting happened?" Raising his left hand as he salute her, he asked her.
"You know I don't consider these windows of time sleep, but I was ok. I have to cast a regeneration spell again on you in the middle of night, you were bleeding again while shaking from fever. I thought of bringing you here but it wasn't as bad as the other night." She answered to him, not moving her body, as her voice was only heard on Simon head.
"Yeah, I kinda noticed that, there were some blood remaining on my nose" A sad smile adorned his lips as he said that.
Camille remained silent as grim atmosphere was around him.
Not wanting to keep thinking of said things, Simon quickly changed the subject as he said to her "Anyways! I have some work to do, mind you to send me down there?"
With a small grumbling from her part, Simon found his surrounding changing to a more green one, with a quick look around he noticed he was at the lake foot.
"I'll be keep an eye on you, still do whatever you want within the range of your current situation, don't be reckless."He heard Camille voice on his head, as he just simply nodded at her.
He knew that Camille had some kind of observation skill, he assumed it was like a sensing in her surrounding or something among those lines.
While thinking of this, he started to inspect around for trees that he could mark for later.
The first thing on his mind was to get some wood and seeds for his crops, bed or something among those lines. Although Camille's nest was a really nice place, he didn't feel at easy sleeping near a giant dragon in a mountain top.
Thus, his first priority was to build himself a bed, a small crop and something that could resembled a small cabin for himself.
Today he would take care of inspect his surrounding, mark the trees he think he could chop, gather some seeds and search for leafs that he could use to wipe his ass. He didn't brought with himself an axe, there were various throwing around Camille's chamber, and he had already asked for her permission a few days ago while he was telling her his intentions.
Thus, he spend the rest of his days walking around while whistling some songs. Near the sunset, before calling Camille to bring him back, he recounted what he found in the day.
He ended up with various seed from fruits trees, bushes and vegetables or something that resembled potatoes. Alongside marking twenty trees that could, for Simon perspective, give good wood to create his bed and few tools. And the most important thing in this travel, he finally found a leaf soft enough to not irritated his ass, and what's better, that didn't initiative an allergic reaction around the zone.
All in all he was quite comfortable. With a nod of his head, he called for Camille, who after a few seconds brought him back in front of her.
Opening her eye, she scanned him as she saw the various seeds on one hand, with a few fruits on his pocket.
"You took a while for doing all that, you're slow" that's all she said after a few moments.
Simon just grinned at her as he answered "Well, at least I finished, right?" With that, he turned around as he headed towards the entrance, were a few helmets and hides were carrying his things.
Putting the seeds in one empty helmet and the fruits above them, he headed back towards her place.
Moments later, he sit near Camille position as he started to eat some fruits while asking her some questions about the herbs, plants and trees around the forest.
Later, before Simon's usual sleep hour, Camille tried to inquire about his past, as she was curious about his current situation, while Simon just shrug it off while changing the conversation.
...
Simon spends the following days doing some work outside the cave while still relying on Camille heals and help to move between the mountain and forest. First of all, he built with wood and some kind of mixture between mud and sand, a place that he called "warehouse" where he could leave the fruits he encountered.
Then he built inside the cave hall, in a border that wind wasn't able to reach, a small bed with some dry grass, ragged clothes, and leather armor. Although it wasn't the most comfortable bed he rested on, in was much better than the hard floor. On an interesting note, the ground in the nest was warmth too. However, just like the weather, once you reach a certain distance from the nest, said temperature in both surrounding and ground decrease to extreme degree.
Regarding all this, his new life in this world wasn't bad, putting aside his health condition and his seemingly dormant gold finger, he found himself thinking less about useless things, like he did previously to his death. Also he found out that Camille was a good partner to talk and philosophize, once you were able to pass through her seemly incapacity to socialize without talking something serious.
As she was a Dragon, they both talked about a lot of things regarding her race and origins, and with Simon's useless but profound questions, Camille started to have a severe existential crisis. More once they started to talk around the significance of one's existence and it's purpose.
He didn't know it, but Camille was still trying to find her place in this world, thus, these talks only served to get her thoughts get carried away.
Simon tried to help her but there wasn't much about he could do, more if you take into account that they both didn't talked about their personal matters and only touched some themes in a roundabout manner.
However, all of this exploded when Camille started to tell something more about herself.
"C'mon Camille, aren't you a dragon? Maybe you being here is some kind of blessing to this world, I remember a story where Dragons went extinct and magic stopped flowing because of it. Until, thousands of years later, Dragons appeared again and alongside them, magic." Simon didn't told her that those dragons were pretty useless in that story.
"But what I perceive as magic is something beyond myself, as it's something I need and not I produced. So what you said doesn't make sense."
With Camille being unable to conciliate her crisis and Simon's effort to improve his life, working on his plot of lands (That wasn't going to work, however, Simon wasn't aware of this, yet.) Building some extremely rudimentary tools, and the unresponsive gold finger. Time went by and two weeks passed.
====
During these three weeks since he fled from the mountain, Ivar, the sole survivor of the adventurer's incursion went towards the town of Erkberd, the nearest civilization in the vecinity of the forest and where he previous this task, stayed. There he spread the words about the adult dragon in the mountains and results of their hunt.
This led to a series of troubles, as he contradicted the Lord's words and the adventurer guild knowledge, who affirmed that only a young Dragon was living in the deep of the forest.
There were no words about Camille's raid against the Lord's castle, as the majority of soldiers died and the survivors knew that voicing out about the dragon will add more damage to the people than good.
But with Ivar everything changed, as he was one of the few adventures that were present that day, and member of the only adventurer's group that survive the entire attack. He told everyone what happened that day, as the castle of the lord of these lands, Terrance Erkband, was a few kilometers of distance from this town, making possible for the Lord to contain the news about it.
However, that didn't impide the chaos to ocurre, as the folks were in a state of panic fearing retaliation from the Dragon after the adventurer's party attack.
But with the weeks passing by, and without any sign of attack coming from the mountain, the calm started to surge again. But the people weren't in peace as they were before. Neither did Ivar, who after creating chaos, dissapeared mysteriously.
But with the news about Camille, being a recent adult dragon while still living in the mountain, spreading between the circles around the place, adventurers started to appear in various locations near the mountain, the town and the surrounding areas were in a state of alert, as if they were expecting something.
There was a reason why before no one tried to get near towards this forest and attack the young Dragon, since the creation of the town, tales of a Forest Guardian were tell. It wasn't something to scare the kids, but a real threat, as more than once adventurers and small group of soldiers tried to get into the deeper parts of the forest, to never return again.
The hunters that lived around the forest, often told tales of how the more greedier ended up vanishing after killing more than they needed. There were also the tribes living in the forest, these tribes that once were just fleeting slaves searching for refuge, were allowed to stay in the forest, with some kind of being looking after them and protecting from anyone who seek their death.
It was due to this, that they let the young Dragon be at peace, since it never attacked or give troubles towards anyone, and no kingdom wished to poke the hidden danger that was guarding that place and it's inhabitants.
However, now that a survivor, who went to the heart of the forest, in the mountain where the Dragon live and spread what he saw. Many started to feel that the forest Guardian may not exist anymore.
Thus, the more bold adventurers started to probe around the place, seeking for glory or chances to revert their luck.
Also well with the flow of adventurers the price of beast skins was taking a hard hit, as many started to hunt in the common places of the hunters, as not many had the guts to venture deeper into the forest, knowing quite well that even if there wasn't any kind of guardian, all kind of beast or things could kill them.
With the town local product now being in overabundance, it started making life in the town even more difficult for those who rely on it.
Unbeknownst to them, the Dragon itself was taking a nap and doesn't even think about leaving in the near time her nest, as now she has someone to talk to, and look after.
=====
Today Wertar was in the unlucky team who was tasked to travel to the surface of the mountain and see what happened a few days ago. It was unlucky as he knew that their protector, the Dragon, lives up in the mountain. There were records of her trantums in the past, as whenever something happened, they would be task to see if she needed something.
Thus, many came to know that she wasn't someone who was pleasant to interact with.
However, they have to do their part, as his ancestors came to this place a few hundreds of years ago, attracted result of the large pool of mana that was in the place. They knew that this kind of mana pool was often motive enough to create large numbers of ores, and it so happen that their entire family was looking for a place to live after moving out from their motherland.
It was then that they came to know about the young dragon that made of this place it's home. His ancestors then made pact with the dragon, they would build her a proper place to rest and give to her a few rich ores, while in time of necessities, they heed on her call, in exchange, she would let them live under the mountain, obtain it's richness and be under the protection of the dragon.
Svaltars, this is how they call themselves, they weren't known for being a social race, most of their time they were mining, blacksmithing or creating gadgets. They were passionate about what they like, and in strange cases, they would leave their underground cities to go up on the surface and explore other things.
But most of those who go up were young dwarfs that were fascinated with the outside and the battles itself.
Wertar wasn't one of those. He was your typical Svaltar who only wished to hone his skill, create something that could immortalize him and have a renowned house
However, two days ago he came back from his journey through the deeps of the mines, he felt lucky as he found an ore vein that wasn't found nor used before. When he came to announce to his peers about the good news, he found himself being tasked to make a reconnaissance on the surface to see what happened.
He cursed his own karma, from the thousands that were living in here, he was picked. But he didn't felt that bad since at the end of the task, he will start mining the new ore vein before everyone else, as his right for being the finder.
From where he lived to the barracks he thought about many things that some of his peers warned him. A few minutes later now in the barracks, he finished equiping with his armor and weapons. Although here in the deepness of the mountain they have to fight from time to time against the beasts that wished to make the mines their home, it wasn't necessary to take these heavy armors. But he knew the reason behind it.
Other races and livings being in the surface make use of powerful weapons and mana skills. Thus, if they wanted to have have some sort of protection, he needed these things.
After finishing checking himself and thinking about his orders, he took a glance through the windows towards the underground city.
Illuminated with the Glihg Rocks, his eyes glanced over the tall buildings that were sheltering near a million of his brethren. In just a couple hundred years, they expanded and flourished under the dragon watch. Without having to worry about wars or any kind of attacks made by sentient beings, the Svaltars created this marvelous city called 'Nachtschmiede'.
It stared with a small castle and few mines with spare houses, to become this giant under the mountain.
With a last glance towards his home, he steeled his heart and promised himself to came back again.
Moving through first corridor towards the surface, he tried to apply his military training while marching, as he was traveling with another 9 Svaltars. They were ascending up steadily as guards around the hall nodded at them.
As they saw the sun rays, they started to make serious preparations. As they could be attacked by beasts or even another race, the corridor guards where further back, guarding the gate that protected Nachtschmiede from the exterior, and they wouldn't come in their rescue.
Luckily for them, they didn't encounter any trouble, just a few mishaps, as they're all were young and never leaved from the protection of Nachtschmiede. There was only one middle-aged dwarf in the group who once went out, just for experience a few days outside. With his guidance, they calmed down as the foreigner things around them were explained to them.
Wertar though that it wasn't that bad on the surface. Also, the cool and fresh breeze made was a whole new experience, as feeling the refreshing and purifying sensation run through his lungs made him acknowledged something he heard before.
What the elders said about living in the deeps of the mines short their lifespans, it was all true.
The group was in the entrance of the mountain path, ahead of them was a large zig zag path that went upwards their destination, however they were thrown out of focus when they heard a voice, and it was near them. It was a deep but melodic voice. It was singing in a foreign language.
The veteran dwarf started to frown as he could tell one thing from this voice. It was a voice that could belong to an humanoid race.
With that taking into account, he began pondering if the dragon was subdued by one of these races. As he didn't believe that a Dragon would be willing to live with an inferior being, not even them were offered with said option. And they were well aware that the dragon maintained various tribal races far away from this mountain but within her boundaries in the forest. The only reason why they were allowed to lived under the mountain was due to the large palace and richness offered by his ancestors.
Wertar was asked to scout for the origin of the voice.
He cursed inwardly as he started to walk towards the origin of the voice. He began to think about what he will find and if he would need to fight his way out until the rest of his group back him up.
As the voice could be heard closer and closer, Wertar started to become nervous but his courage was making him stepping harder as energy filled his whole body. Underneath his hand armor, his hands gripped tightly his ax, with such strength that his knuckles started to white.
The ground below each of his steps began to sunk.
The veteran dwarf wanted to send another dwarf back to the underground city to alert them about the possible foreign invasion to the mountain. But he held back as he first wanted to know with the scout about the situation up there. The best outcome would be that the dragon expelled whatever attacked him and that voice they heard was one of it's prisoners.
---
"When the sun shines, we shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be your friend, took an oath that I'm a stick it out 'til the end~~" Simon was making a few tools of wood as he singed loudly a popular song of his previous world.
" Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other~~" He was making a strange movement of hips as he sang with fervor. "YOU CAN STAND UNDER MY UMBRELLA, ELLA, ELLA, EH EH~~" As he finished the chorus with frenzy, he froze on his spot.
There was a thing with brown hair watching him in the path. It has a well-made ax, with a heavy looking armor. Also, it has the same height as a child. He himself was somewhat tall, as he was 1.93 centimeters tall. And that thing could reach his belly easily.
But the thing is, he was embarrassed as he was caught singing and dancing.
With shame all over his face, he asked "Need something?".
The hairy being was staring at him. With curiosity in his eyes.
Then with a hoarse voice, he spoke.
"Wer bist du und was machst du hier?"
Simon was taken aback, this was a language... it was one that he was familiar with!
He strangely could talk the common language of this world. But he learned from Camille that there was racial languages and even regional ones.
There was quite a high diversity of cultures as there wasn't a kingdom or empire that could unify all of those races and people together.
The common language was introduced by The Wizard Union as a means to spread their knowledge, as it was easier to learn and it had strong support, it was openly used after a few years.
'GOD! HE SPEAK GERMAN!' Simon's head was thrown in disarray as the surprise came so sudden.
'How can this be? I can't believe that a creature here could speak THAT german from there, is this some kind of coincidence?'
With more questions in his head, he tried to not look alarmed.
With a cough, he answered him with what little he remembered of german he learned.
"Ja, Hallo, wie geht es dir? Mein Name ist Simon und ich bin verloren."
With a horrendous pronunciation, and a high accentuation of the 'r', Simon said to the hairy being. He wasn't confident as he learned this oration with a certain company that works with an AI.
Wertar was taken aback, it was the first time that he heard someone talking that bad.
'Is he dumb or something?'
He didn't even think that the person in front of him didn't talk his language as he lacked common sense.
Seeing that the hairy being didn't answer him back, Simon began to feel embarrassed.
'Lucky me I never traveled before to Germany, I would have embarrassed myself If I tried to talk like this.'
"Simon, oder? .... Du sagst du bist verloren?" He was taken aback when the hairy being said this and he was unable to understand a thing he said.
Gulping down and stealing a few glances towards the axe, he opened his mouth and said in a nervous tone "Sorry but I can't understand you, I thought I could try but I guess I can't speak more than tha-"
He couldn't finish his sentence as Camille's voice sounded back.
"Grovel before your Queen, monkey! why are you here? Speak."
Her voice thundered both Simon and Wertar, as it made them jump on their place while stretching their backs.
Simon began to suffocate at the pressure that Camille was exerting. The air was feeling dense and hard to breath, there was a weight on all his body trying to push him down onto the floor.
A regal aura was wrapping around his entire being, while an urgency of desperation started to spread on his body.
It was the first time that she gave him that feeling.
A feeling of inferiority.
Wertar was trembling, as the pressure and the voice was directed to him. He didn't even saw her body nor could feel her presence, but he could feel the dread that produce to him.
He tried to talk but with no avail as he bit his own tongue accidentally.
Seeing that Wertar was unable to answer her. Camille appeared in front of them. She did feel the dwarves group since they exited from their hole. But she didn't know what they wanted. As she was recently attacked she was with her guard up.
"What are you all doing here and why you aren't showing your respect in front of your Queen? Don't you think that sending just one to greet me is disrespectful? I guess you monkeys have forgotten your manners during these years."
With an annoyed tone, Camille said loudly to the dwarves group. The dwarves began to tremble and fall to their knees as their ears and nose were bleeding.
Simon was aghast. He was surprised for two things, the first one was how smoothly Camille could talk when she's not trying to be sociable and showcasing her dominance. The second was her formidable aura. It wasn't like he has already met other powerful beings, but he could feel the difference between them. It was the first time and it feels uncomfortable.
'Just this morning she was asking me about introspection and entropy. How could she be the same being?' Simon was staring Camille dumbfounded. Sweat was drenching his whole body without him noticing it.
He tried to speak but with no avail. He felt his throat being grabbed by an invisible hand.
With that uncomfortable feeling, he saw how an entire group of those beings appeared in front of them.
Ten child like figures cladded in armor and trembling before Camille imposing and giant body.
It could have been a humorous sight, but when you add their hair and how rough their skin seemed with their rough facial features. You could only feel that it was weird sight and that they weren't people to mess with.
There were ten of them, after grouped with the first one and all of them seemed to be in pain as their orifices bled.
One of them tried to talk, he seemed more mature than the rest "W-wir... we pass our greet to your Highness The Queen, we didn't mean to offend you by any means. We, the Svaltars didn't forget our pact. Today we were sent here as a request of the Grand Elder Council to see if something happened to your Highness." With clear weariness and pain in his voice, the dwarf tried to speak respectfully in front of Camille.
"I would have died a long time ago if it were by you and your people..." With clear dissatisfaction, Camille talked loud.
The dwarf began to shiver as he heard her.
"W-we didn-" He couldn't be finished as he shut up when he felt the aura of the Dragon froze his surroundings.
"I don't care. If there were someone who can hurt me, you and your people would never have a chance. Get out of my sight now." With disdain and a cruel glint in her eyes, Camille voice out and throw them towards their entrance.
"TELL YOUR ELDERS THAT THEY'RE NOT WORTHY OF MY PRESENCE AND PROTECTION ANYMORE. ALL OF YOU ARE FORBIDDEN TO PUT A FOOT ON MY MOUNTAIN." Camille's voice resounded through the whole forest as it carried with it her rage and fury.
Simon was confused.
'Since when did she became a queen? And why she was so angry? Is not like any of these beings could do something against her enemies, she's a frickin' dragon!' As he wanted to follow her and start a round of questions , he found Camille looking at him with a frightening glare.
"Come inside." That was all she said as she disappeared from Simon's sight, with him finding his surrounding changing to the palace interiors.
"What the hell... what is wrong with her?" He asked himself as he began to walk inside. But before continuing, he looked towards the direction of the forest as he pondered something in his head.
'And there it goes my first chance to experience my first interspecies conversation... well gotta be another time I guess. ' With a sigh, he shook his head and walked in.
