And so, I took the next few days to rest. Sakimi did the same, recovering from her hypothermia.
The storm lasted longer than Anatoli originally expected, and it didn't start to die down until the fifth night.
"The Calamity Beast must be in a bad mood," Anatoli said. "These storms are usually only two or days long at maximum."
"That's still a pretty long time."
"Yeah."
On the morning of the sixth day, the snow clouds had mostly cleared, and only a few flurries of precipitation remained.
"It's safe now, right?" I asked.
"Yep."
"I'm just making sure because I don't want to be caught up in another blizzard or something."
"Don't worry. There's usually a week-long grace period between each mana disaster."
