A few days after Zarathustra's death, Cinnabar became the new queen of Enfernius. She explained who my party and I defeated the archdemon, causing the crowd to yell out, "Boo!"
Despite Cinnabar's unpopularity, she managed to appease most of the population by exposing Zarathustra's malicious actions behind the scenes, including assassination and torture.
Most of the population also didn't know about Zarathustra's Authority of Domination, so Cinnabar revealed its power by showing her own eyes.
Of course, it came as a shock for people to realize that they have been mind-controlled this entire time. It wasn't full mind-control, but it was to the extent that they would feel unnaturally high loyalty to the archdemon.
Like any paradigm shift, the population was polarized—some people vehemently hated Cinnabar while others accepted the new ruler.
