Just before I could land the killing blow, a massive swing struck my head, sending me flying across the arena.
The shadow knight stood in front of his fallen master, helping her to stand up.
"Aura of Healing!" Aisling said.
As I got up from the earlier impact, my head was dazed, giving Aisling ample time to restore her health.
Now, dark wisps covered the shadow knight's armor like the fur of a nightmarish beast. Its body was hunched forward, and its helmet's mouth had opened up, revealing terrifying teeth.
"Get him, Father!"
