I was quiet on the way to Queen's. Jayden didn't say a word for a moment. Then he suddenly closed the partition between us and Ken.
He sighed deeply. "Peg, would you like to go to Flousia?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked, surprised.
"I know you've been thinking about it. You want to see the country your mother grew up with, right? I was also thinking about it. Going back to that place, where my mother was murdered. I want to go and see my grandfather. Peg, I want you to share your pain with me and mine to you." He said seriously.
I didn't realize I was already crying. He pulled me into his arms, hugging me tight.
"I know you've been alone all your life. From now on, I'll be here for you. I'll be your family. You will never be alone anymore. I promise!" He continued while caressing my back.
He released me but cupped my face and kissed me. It was gentle and sweet. My lips were trembling since I'm still crying.
