I turned around and could not accept what I had heard. I tried to calm myself but my heart beat so fast and I felt like suffocating.
"Breathe!" Jayden almost yelled.
He was not mad, he was worried. He pulled me and gently hugged me, rubbing his hand at my back.
"Let's sit first." He whispered.
I nodded and walked toward the couch. I had ragged breathing when I sat while remembering the scene I saw on Lucia Castello's murder.
I didn't realized that the man who introduced himself as the real Benjamin was now in front of us, handing a glass of water.
"I'm sorry." He said.
I nodded again and took the water. We didn't think of our safety anymore. I didn't care if the water had poison in it and just drank everything.
"Do you still want to continue?" The man asked.
Jayden looked at me and waited for my answer.
"Yes." I simply responded.
The man nodded and sat on the chair across from us. Then he continued.
