Alex wanted to forage through the pile of rocks, dirt, and plants on the ground. But the Wineweed guild had claimed every bit of it and took what they could for themselves. He didn't even have a chance to see if there were any White Ascension Flowers there.
Given that eight White Ascension Flower petals were the last thing he needed for his pill, he felt very annoyed at the fact that he might have to go on for another few months without it.
Truthfully, he didn't even know where else to start.
Alex returned to his place. He was still dejected, but he knew he would get over it quickly. At least, there was one good thing coming out of all of this.
He no longer had to stay in this city.
He could leave immediately, be away from trouble, and start finding the flower somewhere else. The flowers were the only reason he was still staying here anyway. Otherwise, he wouldn't have put up with living in such a terrible place.
