Everyone was made to get on the ship while the elders went around the island to look for what else they could find.
They would be taking a few hours as they planned on going through all 9 major islands and the smaller ones to search for what other problems could be in the Sunless lands.
This would take them some time, which they could be using to go back, but Alex was actually thankful for this. Thanks to the extra time, he could talk with his father, without all the other headaches that would come with having to deal with the aftermath of this battle.
Even if he wouldn't have to do much, he would still have to explain them as much as he knew. So, this free time was very much appreciated.
Alex not only talked with his father, but he also treated them all at the same time.
