The last 5 years have been war for Kross. Spending time for a crime he didn't commit was bringing the boiler to over flow. The convicts weren't the Christian type for they would always do more to make the life of the other inmates a living hell; Kross was no exemption for he had no group to belong to but made some very good friendship and Mark told him all about the misery of leaving in this hell for that was his third conviction.
Days would pass and it was the prison guards' turn; particularly "Limbo" who enjoys himself at that game. Kross spent more time in isolation than any other convict. Limbo had a soft spot for him we'll say. All he'd ask is the day he leaves this place, even with no one waiting for him, every were else was better so long as he'd be free. Limbo will make the others start a fight against Kross just so he could see him in isolation; but Kross said to himself isolation was better than living another day with the ware-wolves out in the yard. One year past and it was time for Mark to go. How would he manage when Mark was the one who'd save him from some isolation time. The problem wasn't Kross not being able to fight back; he just wanted to do his time and maybe get some time off for good conduct. So he decided with Mark leaving, he'd follow his advice "fight back my friend, for there's no stranger in hell".
As the door opens and Mark walks out, the fight immediately begins but now Kross fought leading Samuel Dos Santos to the infirmary one of the Mexican gang leaders, now the others knew; it wasn't out of weakness for Dos Santos was one of the most feared.
Now sitting in the interrogation room, Kross is asked to go over his statement once again, the chief attorney wanted to clear his doubts for Kross's Lawyer wouldn't just let him be. The guy was innocent for crying out loud. After examination, the chief attorney still held his stands.
Malinda 14, and Rachel 12, are seated watching their favorite TV show, dad ain't home yet, mom ordered pizza for dinner, the clock says 7:30 p.m, now she's off. "Tell your dad I'm at Maddy's", for the Lord knows she wasn't, but where was he to confirm his hypothesis. Paul had been so absorbed by his job that he sees nothing of Ivies' way these days. The new project was a killer; developing a time space travelling machine in which you can actually fax matter; nothing with the likes of 'Star Gates'. Paul was so excited; as that was the only conversation; at the table; the bedroom, the tub, the kitchen. Ivie was mad at the look of things; from the on she started her after work session with Mathias the French at Paddy's.
If you could imagine the only thing that matters at this point in life, what would it be; yeah that's right. Paul didn't store anything at all in his machine but a book, which he kept so close for many wanted the formula so bad they had already killed to have it, and they won't hesitate to do it again.
Plum-head Nancy; she must have something in that her head to make her act as mean as she did toward Rachel. In no way would you think a 12 year-old kid would find the most tricky way to pull-out the thread out of a fellow mate, endeavoring to make he life as miserable as she could (filling her locker with ink on one day and the other rotten eggs). She had it all over the place to leave Rachel wanting only one thing leave. Paul had seen so much in life but there was nothing he could do for his daughter, as reporting the issue to administration did not solve the whole thing but made it worst.
Doing time for a crime you didn't commit was certainly the worst thing that could happen to you. The Amanda Case was one the district attorney wanted to use as a speakerphone, else for the fact that he had it all wrong; winning time on the wrong guy and won't even listen to some good talk. Kross's attorney was assigned, so much was not to be expected from the fella. He never tried had to win the case. Some how he blamed Kross for not fixing the break of Amanda's SUV which led to her accident but still an attorney has to do his job whether the client is guilty or not, even a presumption of not guilty was not given to Kross; he had it all over him.
That famous Thursday Kross had finished working on Amanda's SUV and all was fine, even when he did the test run the breaks turned out good; excellent I'd say on for Amanda to run over the cliff because of a damaged break system. Her itinerary was look over again by the detective; but the accident occurred immediately as soon as she left the garage, so all eyes were turned on the last person who touched the car before she did.
Saturday September 4th; finally Kross's time is over; did 4 instead of 5 for good conduct. There's no one to pick him up on this day. The file he collected with belongings had 200 bucks. At least he can start with that. He boarded one of the cabs waiting outside for French Gate Motel. He had nothing to do but find a job as quickly as possible; but who's gonna want an ex-convict? There's a tag upon you face when ever you fill a recruitment form and say convict, nothing else you fill on that form has value, so you end up screwed by yourself especially when you are the cause of your convictions life rubbing a bank, but when nothing is of your making you ask God why the hell will these be happening to you.
