He waded across every bedroom and every part of the house, tinkering with fitness device in the gym, turning the light on and off—the fans, air-conditioners, heaters, and faucets—watching giant flat screen television, sitting on a chair, reading, drinking and eating, looking at the family's pictures. He did all these when no one was looking as if he knew that he would scare a soul. He seemed to be interested with everything inside the mansion. He best liked looking at baby Michael playing with the dream catcher in his bedroom. Nanny Zen could sense him but she didn't want to recognize him because that was what she was told.
Michael played the dream catcher with its colorful feathers, strings, yarns, and beads—how the enigmatic creature let it sway with the gentle wind.
"Does he think he's a regular guy?" Fr. Robert asked Jan as they saw him tending the garden.
