Visitors had left.
The hall, dimly lit, was filled with empty and half-empty glasses. Many enjoyed the party and were too tired that they had forgotten about the incident. But the See's were superstitious. Inside their car, Evan talked of how he, Yuri, Suzy, and Josh were terrified upon hearing the chandelier smashed, broken to pieces.
"Those chandeliers must be very expensive—' must have spent millions," said Mrs. See.
Mom and dad's eyes slit like a treasure box as they laughed listening to their children confessed that their lips had almost let out curse words because of heebie-jeebies.
"Seriously, Suzy was unable to move," Yuri said.
"I saw how Josh was stupefied, too," added Evan.
The next day, the story would be the talk of all.
At Zion Group: "We were on the poolside, along with Josh, Suzy, and their friends when we heard it," Marjorie, one of the staff of Aaron said.
"How did the boss react? Curious." Levi asked.
"Well everybody was shocked—them, included. I saw Aaron's face paled, and Isabella's," Peter agreed.
"Who do you think was the only one unaffected?" asked Levi again.
"Who?" everyone asked.
"The baby--he was peaceful. I was looking at him as he entered the hall carried by the nanny—in fairness to the nanny—she wasn't panicky. They're lucky they have her," Marjorie said. "What's the dog's name?—and the cat?"
"Jackson," Peter butted in.
"Zoraida," said Levi as he strutted around the office. "Ha ha ha… scene stealers."
"But have you seen Romeo and Juliet?" Marjorie asked again."
"Yes, back again in each other's arms. Last I heard about them, they broke up." Peter said.
Levi and Marjorie chuckled.
"So they're back," Levi said.
Alfred called their attention: "Back to work guys."

Jan had called Fr. Robert.
"Father, my sixth sense says something inauspicious is about to take place."
"Auspicious or inauspicious, man controls his destiny; the rest depends on God," Fr. Robert replied. "We can't be cowered by the evils that surround us."
"Yes, Father," the psychic conformed. He just wouldn't say no to the priest. He was afraid to.
"And what does your sixth sense say?" Robert asked.
"I felt an invisible presence in the hall last night. I didn't want to tell you."
"Maybe you did not take a bath." Robert said. The joke was intended to break the seriousness of the subject.
"Ha ha ha… kidding aside, Father, I had goosebumps. There was a spirit."
"Spirits hovered everywhere that is why it is important that we keep ourselves from sins, because there are malevolent spirits."
"If we don't sin?"
"They can't touch us," Robert said.
"I hope it is not the wicked one."

Talia was talking to her husband.
"Do you think it is possible they're having a baby after an eighteen years break?"
"Elizabeth was old when she gave birth to John the Baptist," the husband answered. "Nothing is impossible."
"But the falling of the crystal chandelier, that was ominous."
"Look for something to do so you won't be dipping your fingers in other people's lives"
Talia shot back again. "Don't be naive. I am a woman."
The husband left.
She was going to call friends and tell them about the grand party.
Words would spread.
