What is it like to be born in the smallest country in the middle east during the 80th , well it is not a walk in the park!
To give a background on my country, it is similar to the famous monopoly game where the players keep on changing and so does the bank .At the end we are just some pieces being moved from place to place for the interest of the players.
Speaking of moving , that was our story from year one.We were forced by armed conflict to flee from our home to another , and then to another and so on until we settled somewhere after the conflict was temperory over.
What do i remember from that period ? nothing !
I was blessed with a memory loss .
I believe it relates to hearing the missiles all the times and seeing so much people getting hurt.
So now i have only flashbacks of us hiding in shelters, our parents trying to get us food under the bombardment , moving from hoise to house , from school to school and hearing the missiles and heavy artilary.
How we survived ? i belive it is a miracle from God .
And the miracle keeps on .
Every couple of years the game starts a new round .
Remember , we are only pieces and the players and bank keep changing .
