"How many children do you want, El?" Jasmine asked between her dinners with Rafael a month after they were married.
"I don't know; how about you?" Rafael reversed the question.
"I want three, boy, girl, boy," Jasmine answered him enthusiastically.
"We can't choose gender, huh?" asked Rafael, confused by Jasmine's plans, gender only given by God.
"True, but I will continue to pray every day that God will grant it. I want a son for our firstborn because all my family members were women." Jasmine giggled.
"Oh, I see." Rafael just smiled. They both went back to dinner. Enjoy Rafael's simple cooking.
