With Laura's power washing over them, feeling their soreness and immense tiredness easing, the group could relax slightly, no longer alert at the slightest sound they heard in the surroundings. They could now defend themselves if the situation called for it, but even after Laura had done what she had done, their exhaustion was still present, and it weighed heavily on them.
They gathered in a loose circle, their backs turned to one another so that they could survey the surroundings while resting. The day was akin to night in the forest, and the forest itself was incredibly quiet as if shocked by the sudden battle that had taken place in it.
"Alright, we've dealt with the hunters and shadow wolves, which definitely were amongst the most powerful opponents we can face here, at least we have done that much so far." Reign stated, his breath returning to normal, no longer heavy.
