The explosions were more intense, the shockwaves designed to disrupt their movements and create openings for his teammates gone, replaced by what he usually did, focused explosions that didn't spread too far, but were deadly for those who got caught in them.
He had to switch to such attacks as the enemies who had arrived now were troublesome, they were all powerful individuals, and trying to hit many of them at once would barely do anything.
