SUDDENLY, THERE IS A KNOCK ON THE DOOR.
With a hand over her mouth and her eyes wide, she slowly gets up on her feet as she stares at the cherry red door.
The first person that pops up in her mind is her ex-boyfriend, Daniel at the door; he did ask if she was home.
She hears the knock again and she is baffled, an amused smile forming around the corners of her mouth. "No way." She slowly walks through the well-lighted living room and towards the door with a sassy smile. "What brings a person like you to my house at midnight?" She says, with her voice loud enough to be heard by Daniel behind the closed door. "I thought you said you were never coming to my house again, so why are you here? Did you come to beg for my forgiveness?"
She chuckles at her jokes.
"Just go back, Daniel. I won't give you another chance and I'm not opening the door for you—"
"Sweetie."
