Turns out, the Soldier I had saved after just getting in town was Prince Dan… after thanking me again for a long time he let go of my hands and I was able to get out of the place. he seemed really earnest...
Since I didn't want to stay there any longer and everyone was done with the talking and other stately affairs and such, I proceeded to get them all transported with my portal.
Lana wanted to stay since she had only confessed to me now, we could say that she would stay there for the time being. After the announcements were done and people would come to know of the current situation, she would then be able to move forward. to make it seem official, she was scheduled to come with a large procession of knights escorting her.
The nobles of Stein were the main villains in this case. it was them who would always stop relationships improving with the other human countries. So now that the Nobles had been removed, I could see that the people would be taking the news rather fast and in a week after the fight Treastein and Stein would already become an alliance of sorts.
It wasn't like the countries had suddenly become one, but the people were the ones who would come to accept the situation with open hands. The news of my engagement with Princess Lana will only make it that more concrete.
After a month, my engagement date had been delayed even further. It was because of our new relations with Stein. The country had suddenly lost half of its top brass so it needed more time to become stable. The nobles had left a big gap and it was being filled with new worthy nobles.
This new change in government and making a new relationship with our country helped improve the lifestyle of citizens all over. We could say that a 100 year old misunderstanding was severely stopping both the countries from reaching prosperity.
"The new hero! Rekka Wolford doing the impossible! He has been granted the Princesses of both Treastein and Stein after solving a century old problem!" Mai read me the pamphlet that had been going around the town.
People were talking about me nonstop. I felt kinda lost….
"It had all come to a boiling point. I was only able to do this because this was the best situation for a country wide change… I wonder why people are making a big deal out of it?" I said to Mai as I was drinking coffee. And where was Systy in the news? She was the one that incapacitated the army.
"Master, all the nobles of high standing were killed by the cursed Items curse.. Which means that the Whole Royal family was standing against their own country… Moreover, the Royal family itself was having internal disputes. In that situation, there was no chance of turning the situation over. But your fast judgement and resourcefulness was enough to save the Royal family. You may say it was luck but you could say that was also because of you too." As Mai said so I felt a little like I had just given the best situation. And dealing with curses was something I was used to by now.
"Sigh…. Master, why not just think of it as kindness?" since I wasn't getting convinced Mai said so.
"Kindness?" I asked, thinking for what?
"For all the hardships you had after being born, maybe God showed you some kindness in achieving this peace?" As Mai said, I felt like believing it.
"Yeah lets keep it at that.. I should graciously accept that kindness…." At last I finished the Coffee and accepted the situation as it was. If people want to say all that and believe all that about me being some great hero and doing all those things out of concern for people and not because of my former blunder that I had caused by selling those stuff. I would actually be happy to oblige!

The Stein Kingdom was at last freed from it's curse of barbaric nobles. The Chaos that Duke Hitherto had brought was connected with the Majority of the nobles and some of the Royal families to it too. Not to mention, the illegal workers and criminals all had banded under Duke Hitherto.
So as He had gone around getting his support from all of them, he also used the cursed Item he had to put a mark on his supporters. Maybe it was his wish to win with everyone standing with him or to die taking everyone out with himself, I don't know… but his downfall sent all the unsavory together to hell. Now the Stein Kingdom was appointing new people to those gaps that were left out after the chaos.
"I don't know If I should say this but I feel as if Hitherto cleansed the whole kingdom of its corruption…." His Majesty Claude said this sitting on his throne.
I was now at Stein castle having my reward given by his majesty. For good or bad all the ministers were always on His Majesty's side. so even after the nobles had left a big gap. right now they were helping run the country.
"Rekka Wolford, for what you have done for our country… it is impossible to reward you enough…" His Majesty said in a prideful tone.
"I am humble for His Majesty's words of praise. I don't think I deserve it." I had already told him that my selling those monsters was more than enough to start this coup. Still it looks like he isn't going to think about that.
"As the Humanities Hero's Grandson. You are Modest just like them.. But I must Reward you for the great deeds you have done. As such you will be Bestowed the Honorary Medal- Imperial grace!" As the King announces my Reward. I thought For my reward I was getting Lana but it looked more like a peace marriage so maybe his majesty had put some extra.
"Yes, I humbly accept." As I said, a medal that looked like an angel was drawn on it and a scroll of paper was given to me. The medal looks quite extravagant. Still, a medal shouldn't be too much hassle for me. Since it was an honorary reward, it had no more work with it!
After I accepted the reward, the Audience room was filled with claps.

That's what happened. I didn't wait much after that and went straight to my mansion. I had enough of those formal things and I wanted to enjoy some good food and relaxing time. Those big wigs always tend to be formal, so I was happy at my own peaceful home.
"Master looks Relaxed." Mai was standing beside me. I was currently on the balcony of the 2nd floor of my mansion, relaxing on the nice comfortable chairs. Everyone was out on something or another. Alice took Systy with her somewhere and Leila was at work. I think I was quite bored…..
"I am Relaxed Mai but I kinda feel bored too…." I replied to Mai Listlessly.
"All the maids are busy since we are short on hands so they can't entertain you." Mai said curtly.
She was still mad about me not letting her get any new maids from Stein, while I was getting the medal she wanted to take this chance and go there. She offered me to choose with her but since I refused the whole deal to get even more girls, I was getting the cold treatment.
If she wasn't said to be by me all the time, I doubt she would even talk to me now.
"Haaah….." I sighed to myself for the 3rd time.

Just when I thought about going and hunting some wild game, Mai who had gone off somewhere came back.
"Master there is a visitor." As she said so I didn't see much irritation on her face.
Since my fame has gotten widespread, people from the Stein kingdom's noble families have been frequently coming to show me their daughters or sisters. Most of them were marriage proposals but even after rejecting them they even offered to be my mistress or even a maid!
I know that the worthless nobles had perished and now much more civilized ones were at the seats but they still didn't change their base behaviors. They all wanted to have some kind of connections to me. I mean I wasn't even a noble but they still hang on the possibilities.
"If it's another one of those proposals just reject them after some tea…" I said Brushing of Mai.
"No, Master, it's Miss Acadia Flameheart. She is a top Merchant in human countries and has connections with elves, dwarves and beastkind too. She has requested to meet you."
"Hmm, I wonder why such a bigshot wants to meet me. Alright, if she's that big of a merchant she must have some important thing to discuss, I'll meet her."
"She has been shown to the meeting room downstairs."
As I follow Mai to the Meeting room. I saw some of my maids looking happy. I wonder if they won some kind of a lottery today.
As soon as I entered the room, A girl Leila's age stood up from her seat and gave an elegant bow.

She was wearing a Cocktail dress which was black, it was an elegant bow but It felt extremely sensual, you would probably know but this girl… was a bomb. I composed myself and gave her a simple bow too.
Very rarely do I lose my cool, more so since the mansion was already filled with beautiful girls… but this girls' looks really were something… my blessings of protection over my mind being immune to unnecessary sway from girls kind of wavered.
"Please take a seat. I am Rekka Wolford." Since this girl had been beautiful just like Leila, I kind of had at least some resistance. So I was able to greet her quite well. of course none of the girls wore dresses that were this sexy and her gestures and movements too seemed quite sexy, the whole thing made her... really something
"Thank you for meeting me. I am Acadia Flameheart. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She did say that rather politely but I felt as if she was showing me sarcasm. Still Not bothering to think about those things, I told her to take a Seat and I sat myself too.
As I was seated and the tea was being served, one of Miss Acadia's underlings standing behind her gave her a briefcase. Miss Acadia took that and presented it to me. I was a bit surprised.
"Master, that is a gift for letting her meet you, you should Accept it."
Mai skillfully whispered such advice to me and moved out of the room with other maids, Since their work was done.
"Please Accept my gifts for our first meeting." Miss Acadia bent a bit from her seat and gave me the case. As I accepted it I had to bend my will and peek at her marvelous cleavage…. she is soo sexy.... Leila, I really need you here right now!
Aaaaah! I lost my composure and took the bait! in any case, Leila can't come now!

The watch fit perfectly on my hand. She was probably trying to say that it is worn on hand, but I already knew it and was able to wear it perfectly. Even the fixing system was easy enough so Miss Acadia looked a bit surprised looking at me.
"And that is a black jacket made from Demonic sneak Leather. I heard that sir Rekka was fond of Black colour. I hope it is to your liking, although it is a long way for winter to come, in the coming winter you will surely complement the gift I have presented. There is a weapon polishing kit made by professional Dwarve artisans too." As she finished the description of all these High quality products, I was in a daze.
All these Items looked too refined to be made by human countries. That meant it was sure to be made by the other races. As I looked over the things, I could even see that she had enough information about me to be able to get what I would need and like rather than just give out random monetary gifts. She knew my tastes too well...
"By seeing these products… I am sure that you are here to get me in your good graces, Alright, would you tell me what I can do for you?" I asked straightforwardly. I know that I am not that much of a schemer. In Front of a girl like this, I would have to be straightforward.
she looked at me for a moment, as if accepting the fact that this was just how I was, she blinked a few times and sat back leaning on the couch.
"I am pleased that you don't like to dilly dally. For a merchant their time is really valuable, so it saves a lot of my time." As She talked in a business-like tone, she was also checking out my mood I guess. As I nodded in understanding, she began to explain why she was here.
"I have learnt that you have the products of the Sage Treant. As one of my customers has requested it, I would like to procure the product from you. Sir Rekka, would you be willing to sell me your Sage Treant?" She was an older beauty like Leila but it felt as if she was using seduction however way she could to get what she wanted.
I wasn't going to judge her for that… but I felt as if there was more, something more she wanted. As a big merchant, did she really need to seduce me? What was the main reason she was here?
[I don't like her that much.... she... no... nothing...] Amanori didn't finish her words and just stopped talking.
"Okay…. Do you want the whole sage Treant?" not thinking about keeping miss Acadia waiting any more I promptly asked because she didn't specify the details.
She gulped at my question but asked promptly. "Would you sell me all of it?"
She was a merchant alright. As valuable as the thing was, if she could buy all of it. It would give her a valuable income.
"But Miss Acadia, I don't really need money anymore…. I really do have too much already." I said the truth looking rather exhausted. Seeing me look like that, Miss Acadia let out a chuckle. It felt like she loosened her business vibe a bit.
"Actually, I know about your situation quite well Sir Rekka." Well she was bound to know. After that boatload of money was sent in my storage, the international market was in a dreadful place.
The overlord was pushing me to spend the money as quickly as I could. But I don't even have anything to buy! If it were earth, I would have bought cars, phones, luxurious goods, electronics and maybe even some shares to test my luck... but here? I had nothing to spend that money on.
I even went to a Casino in Stein. Since I was a noob at betting, I thought I would lose some money there but what happened there was even more surprising. I never really lost any bets. My luck was good I guess but I came back with 10 times more than what I had invested.
At last, I wanted to give away some money to some orphanages and many companies as help, but Leila got angry at the amount I was going to give and rejected the offer while taking only one bag of gold coins. To which she said " this is already more than enough." I even offered some to Stein to rebuild their capital... well there was still over flowing cash...
As I told my problems to Miss Acadia, she was now laughing while holding her stomach. I was glad she enjoyed her chat with me but I was getting a bit annoyed too…. not to mention, as she giggled, her chest that had a mind of it's own bounced with a nice rhythm.
"Ha ha…. Sir Rekka can you tell me why you even procured or rather, why did you sell all of the materials?" Finally getting out of her laughing state Miss Acadia said.
"What? oh, I didn't want to sell that much. It's just Leila asked for more every other week and I just went and gave her a share from them…. Now that I think about it, I wasn't really thinking straight, I just went to meet with Leila…." As I stopped my true feelings from coming out, I said some personal stuff too.
"Well that is certainly a new story. I never heard a man getting rich because he wanted to meet a girl." Miss Acadia said with a rather friendly attitude.
"Well I didn't sell all the materials… There are more in the storage and probably the ones that are left are quite valuable. If I really sell them, there won't be anything left in human lands." At my answer, Miss Acadia got a serious look on her face. As Acadia looked assured right now and felt there was no more to think about anymore, she said,
"Charl. Leave us." As she said to her underlings, all went out of the room and both of us were left alone. I was surprised by her sudden seriousness but I thought something big was gonna fall…
Had I known that something big was none other than me… I really would have stayed in bed that day.
