Elisha collapsed after what she heard from his father that she's the chosen one from their Tribe. They bought her to her room and gently put her in the bed. Elijah who was beside her cannot still believe that this reckless and coldhearted woman is the chosen one. Still, he is concerned of what will happen to Elisha since she has the gem. Would her life be at risk because of it? *Sigh*
"Are you okay son?" Athena asked when she noticed her son's sighing. "Mom, what would happen to her now? I'm worried that she might be in danger because of it." He touched her twin sister's hand. Even though they are like cats and dogs, always fighting and sometimes it gets to the point like they are almost killing each other still, they love and care each other so much.
They just don't know how to express that love so that is why they ended up fighting. Hurting each other might also be a way of showing that they care for each other. It's weird though.
"Hmm, when I gave birth to you we are the happiest parents. We are so blessed that God entrusted you two, to us. Though I suffered so much but when I saw the two of you all the pain and suffering faded and only pure happiness and joy was there. I couldn't ask for more, you two already are more than enough. But..." Athena stopped from talking and caressed her daughter's face. Her eyes cannot hide how worried she is for her daughter's situation.
"On your first birthday, during the party Elisha cried and we don't know the reason why. She did not stop from crying until, a big tornado appeared in front of Elisha. There, Elisha stop from crying and played with the tornado. Everyone who saw that, they immediately got out from the hall. After that, everyone was afraid of Elisha. Me and your dad was so shocked of what happened, it's very impossible to have a power at the early age as early as 1 year old. Normal awakened like us takes years before you can use and control it. However, in Elisha's case she was able to use and control it. That's the time we seek help to the Elders. We found out that the power was because of the gem that was hidden on the back of her neck. The gem was only visible every time she's angry or her emotions are unstable."
Elijah who heard this can't help but be amazed of her twin's power. How he wished he has that kind of gem hidden on his body.
"Then, what will happen to her now?"
"I don't know, let's wait for your father." Athena let out a deep sigh just by thinking of what will happen to her next. The meeting earlier was in chaos because Athena and Lothian couldn't agree of what the Elders want.
"Did she woke up?" Lothian who just entered the room. "No, not yet. Hon, what would be your decision about the meeting earlier?" Athena's tone was about to cry thinking and seeing her husband's reaction to her question. She knew that her husband will choose the right thing for both the kingdom and the human realm. Still, she's hoping that for once her husband will reject the idea of the elders.
"We don't have a choice. We need to agree to the elders. We have to send Elisha to the human realm." He hugged his wife who is now crying. Elijah look at them and was confused of what they are talking about.
"Why would you like to send my twin sister in the human realm dad? You just said earlier that Vladimir is now making a move right? She will be in danger if she go there." Elijah couldn't believe of what his father is saying right now. Is he crazy? Sending his daughter in danger?
"Elisha needs to look for the remaining gems before Vladimir can have them. She is the only one who can find those gems. She will use the gem to guide her to the other chosen ones." Lothian doesn't have any choice but this is the only way to find them easily.
"How about let's kill Vladimir instead of sending Elisha to the danger?" Elijah suggested.
"It's not easy to do that, Vladimir was one of the the strongest and greatest awakened. Even if the four tribes will join forces like we did before still, it's a total failure. He managed to create a kingdom where strong awakens was his disciples. If we will be able to find those remaining chosen ones there's a big chance that we can defeat him." Lothian looked at his daughter with so much worries. He is risking his daughter's life right now.
Everyone is become silent after that. No one would like to utter any words. The king already decided and that would never change.
"Mmmm" Elisha moaned which they turned their attention to her. "What happened?" she asked the moment she opened her eyes and saw her parents and twin brother. "You fainted." Elijah answered.
"Oh..." she remembered now the reason why she fainted. I thought it was a dream! I wish it was!
"How are you feeling honey?" Athena held her hand and asked her in a gentle tone. "I'm feeling okay now mom." She tried to fake a smile. On the inside she was about to cry when she met her father's gaze. I don't like this feeling!
"Your gem!" Elijah shouted and looked at him. They realized that something shimmers on the back of Elisha's neck. "Uh oh! What's ha-happening?" she stuttered. She don't have any idea of what's going on with her. Her mother tried to calm her down.
"It shimmers since your emotions are unstable. Elisha, I know this is too much but we need your help. We have find the remaining gems as soon as possible. We will send you to the human realm." Her heart stopped when she heard it. "Da-Dad, I'm not powerful as you guys are. I'm afraid I'll fail and one more thing you know I'm not used in living outside the kingdom." she is trying to reason out.
"Psh! As if we don't know that you're always going to the human realm secretly." Elijah murmured which she immediately throw him a deadly glare. Is this monkey stupid?! Did he really like the idea of sending me out there to face that monster?!
"I know but this is the only way, you have to prepare yourself tonight because tomorrow you need to leave this place with your twin brother." Lothian said in a serious tone. Elijah was about to speak but his father's mood made his words back off.
"I need to prepare everything also. You two needs to rest for tomorrow." He walk out to the room together with his wife and the two was left there without any words.
"What will happen now?" Elijah asked her twin sister but Elisha was so lost on her thought that she didn't heard it.
On the other room, Athena followed her husband. "Lothian, is there no other way? They are too young for this mission."
"If there's another way, I won't send them to that dangerous place Athena. You knew how much I love and treasured the twins." Lothian said with a heavy heart. If only there's another way...
"I understand, let's just trust the kids. I know they can make it." Athena hugged her husband. They comforted each other. From the very start, they already predicted the fate of Elisha.
It's just that, it is too early for her.
