Helen sighed mentally preparing herself to deal with another woman confronting her about Eli. Maybe Eli was right in wanting to leave the party rather than searching for a way to have fun. Helen turned to look at the woman who had interrupted their conversation.
There stood a woman with shoulder-length blonde hair and black eyes peeking out her green mask. She wore an emerald sequin ankle-length dress with an emerald-shaped necklace around her neck which was surely expensive.
"It's nice to finally meet you, Helen. My name is Josephine Osborne and I've been friends with Eli since we were babies," Josephine said introducing herself. She had been waiting to meet the woman Eli spoke of for the past few months.
"Oh, I remember him mentioning you. Sorry, I thought you were one of his many fangirls. It's nice to meet you, Josephine. My name is Helen Reed," Helen said, also introducing herself even though she figured everyone at the party had learned her name by now.
