"The same thing you were when you brought all of your whores home. I want a divorce right now Charles. It's time to go our separate ways," said Elaine. In the back of her mind, there was nervousness about what the outcome would be.
Charles was a royal pureblood stronger than the two of them. Elaine was a pureblood while Richard was an average vampire. She stood a chance against Charles more than Richard but he did not want her fighting. She understood he was trying to say this was a man-to-man issue but if Charles got the best of Richard, she wouldn't hesitate to intervene.
