"Xavier! I brought home your stepfather," Abigail said upon entering his home. She was extremely tired but had to make this joke at least before she closed her eyes. "Be nice," she said when she saw him walking towards the door looking at the man who had his mother in his arms.
Though she knew he wouldn't be nice seeing his mother with this man. Xavier wasn't a people's person but she figured Richard could win him over. Hopefully.
"I'm always nice," he replied, giving Abigail a kiss on her forehead for returning home safely. He wasn't sure about sending his mother and girlfriend on such a dangerous trip but he put a lot of faith in Abigail and her skills. Thankfully, they had both returned home safe.
