"Helen, what do you think of Eli's parents after meeting them twice?" Josephine questioned Helen away from everyone else. It was nice to meet the other girls but she was here to mostly get to know Helen. She was the special woman who put Eli under the spell to fall in love.
Helen grimaced thinking of Elaine and Charles. "Well, even though Elaine clearly dislikes me, I kind of like her. To be able to put up with a man like Charles for so long I admire her strength. Forgive me but Charles can choke and die."
"Do you plan to be a diligent daughter-in-law and ignore her feelings towards you?"
Helen clutched the sides of her stomach laughing at Josephine's assumption. Ignore her feelings? Why the heck would Helen do that? "I don't plan to ignore her feelings. I will remind myself about her feelings every time I see her. I am not going to sit obediently knowing she doesn't like me. In fact, I plan to just avoid her all together."
