A cemetery in the city....
Derrick walked past a couple of graves in the cemetery and everywhere was as usual, dead silent. He was dressed in a black suit and he carried a bunch of rose flowers obviously going to visit someone who was very special in his life.
He walked silently to a grave and the words
'Anne Perkins,
1996-2021.
Were inscripted on the grave. Derrick knelt down and gently placed the flower that made light crunchy sounds on the grave. The cold breeze that strangely swept past him always in the cemetery and it wasn't that cold outside the cemetery, ruffled his jet black hair.
"Hey babe." He whispered. "How are you? I'm sorry I didn't come on time like before. Work and stuffs and my mind has been occupied by one person and I don't know what to do." Derrick sighed. Anne was the only one who gave him joy and had given his life meaning ever since he had met her. But death had to take her from him.
