She went to her seat and glanced at Alicia and Phillip who still had suspicious looks on their faces. She quickly sipped down on her coffee, avoiding eye contact with them.
"Sameer will not be coming to work today." Jack said casually as he sipped his coffee.
"Why?" Sabrina, Phillip and Alicia turned their heads to Jack's direction and said in unison.
Jack smirked hearing how they asked him at the same time. He relaxed himself on the chair and said. "He called in sick today, so he is on leave."
They nodded their heads in understanding and all settled down to focus on today's work.
