"Ben! you came so fast ! " He didn't speak anything but hugged me tightly . I was enjoying the moment when I saw Cora at the doorstep watching us . Pulling away slightly from Ben , I ran to Cora and hugged her tight too . "I did your work , you know ? I erased those people memories of you ." I hugged her even more tightly . What could I say to this ? I was more than happy that they had found me already .
We left from the factory and was almost into the boat that they had come from , when I remembered about the tablet that Nate had given me and excused myself . I ran to the entrance of the factory excited , wondering if I would find anything useful from the tablet . What if he had saved something in there ? It COULD just be a simple tablet with nothing special about it but I wanted to check anyway .
I had almost gotten inside the factory when I heard a loud 'BOOM' . I was thrown off from the ground . What the hell happened ? I looked around only to find that the entrance had caught on fire , or more precisely , the room that I would've still been there if Cora and Ben hadn't rescued me was burning . What exploded .
It wasn't long before Cora and Ben came running to me . "Rene ! Are you okay ?" I stood up from the ground , a little dizzy from the sudden throw off , but with no wounds . I was outside within the right distance . "Yeah , I'm fine Cora . Let's go now . Something must've malfunctioned ."
Cora took my arm and made me stand right where I was , keeping me from leaving . "What are you -?"
"Do you think that Nate or the other people would care for your safety ? It was tablet that exploded . Since when did you have it ?"
"Well , it was given to me by Nate a few moments before you guys came in . I didn't suspect him to do something like this ."
"Rene ! He isn't your care taker ! You should be careful when you're in a situation like this !" Ben was frustrated . "You trusted him that fast or what ! "
The whole ride back to the hotel , both of them kept advising me about being careful around my surroundings .
We reached back . It turned out that I was actually locked up for five days . It was my luck that they'd found me at the right time . I would've been dead meat otherwise . I saw dad waiting for us at the entrance , with a furious face . Cora had called him on our way here too , told him what happened , and I was ready for a huge blow from him .
