A dull room, where insides can't be seen completely . Just light there is the faint light of the moon getting through a small window, from where a cool wind is blowing. There is not a solitary human sound at the moment only the rustling sound of leaves. The atmosphere of that room isn't serene or unwinding . A baffled and empty feel is there.

Suddenly the dreadful quietness is disturbed by the phone buzzing.
He opened his eyes and sat up. He was drenched in sweat. Wiping the drops of pungent water from his head with the rear of his hand, he got the phone to check the time on it . It was 2am.
Again he woken up from his fretful rest the reason for similar terrible dreams he had been seeing for last month.
"Ahh!!! I am so tired of seeing this crap! ", he groaned.
He again glanced at his phone screen just to see 12 missed calls and 50 messages from his only best friend. His eyes widened thinking what could be wrong with him?
He started dialing the number of his friend without thinking about the time.
After calling continously for 5 minutess his friend picked up the call.
"H.. Hellooo! ", the sleepy voice on the phone said.
"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO PICK UP ??", he hollered at his friend.
"Ahhhh! My ears!!! " his friend let out a suppressed shout on the phone. "What's the deal with you man!! "
"Oh! were you sleeping?? " he asked realizing how loudly he yelled.
"You kidding??!! It's 2 am in morning and normal people sleep at this time. " his friend said in sarcastic tone. "Damn! I forgot that thing doesn't apply on the alien named Noah"
"Stop your shit man ", Noah said annoyed by his friend. "I didn't want to call you but I called because I saw your countless calls and messages. Now speak up!"
"Oh! That! I guess you forgot about the thesis we turned in last month about haunted places in the ****** university . " he inquired.
"So what about that?", Noah said without any excitement.
" I guess you have no interest in it. Forget it. Let me sleep and you go to sleep too", his friend said sulking.
"Yo! Why are you being so emotional like a child Liam? Just tell me what you want to say.", he said.
"okay Alright alien! listen now. They accepted that thesis and we even topped in it. Now they want us to come to L. A. for the internship. And they will even pay us for it. Sick right!!", Liam said with excitement.
Ya! Ya! Okay so when we have to go there??
He said with the same dry tone.
" Seriously man! You aren't even excited about it. We literally won in 1000 participants. I was so happy to hear this news that even I gave a massive party to all of my friends and I called you to invite also but you didn't picked up. " Liam said disappointed.
" First, I knew we would have in as I never lost in any competition, second you are stupid as you waste your time and money for useless partying and last now just text me about our day of departure as I am going to sleep as I already have wasted my enough time with you having useless conversation", Noah said yawning.
"YOU. UNGRATEFUL. OVERCONFIDENT. JERK. What you even think of... ", he heard Liam screaming and cursing him and cut the call before even letting him to finish.
Liam cursed and texted him.
(text) Monday. 9 am. Meet me at station.
Noah read the text and sighed. He knew that Liam was so excited about all this stuff and all the people of his age would have the same reactions. As it was a big achievement for a 17 year old teenager who has just graduated and having such a big opportunity.
But it was not same for Noah. Actually it never have been same for him.
He never saw his parents. And was brought up by his grandmother. She loved her with all she had but she also died 2 years ago since then he lives all alone.
He was always by himself as no other child wanted to be his friends as there were strange rumors about death of his parents.
So he never knew what the happiness was. He was exceptionally intelligent and was good at everything. So success was his regular thing. But still he was an outsider.
He always asked his grandmother about death of his parents but she never told him. But when she was on his death bed she told Noah that she was not him real grandmother but a caretaker only.
Noah was shocked and sad. She told him that the secret of the death of his parents was in L. A. And he has to be careful and must find that secret before he turn 18. So he tried to find a way to go there. And finally destiny gave him a chance and he at once fetched it.
Now he is going there because there are only 2 months left until he turn 18.
It was not only because he wanted to find that secret but also to find someone related to him or at least find someone with whom he can feel the real happiness and enjoy his life truly without any concerns, burdens or regrets in his heart.
