'I spoke to Even who I never knew directly in the past before, and he knows about what I can do. So something had to have changed, right?' Mai thought. She was getting ready to open her eyes and see the familiar room she was in again.
'But will things be the same with Chris? Simon was with Even when they both heard Chris and me talking. Maybe Simon was never meant to be there, and Chris was meant to end up living with me. This could be a big change that leads to the two of us never having married.'
