I could tell you a million reasons why I did what I did but none would truly justify the naked truth.
Some would say I did it out of lust. Some out of a selfish reason of not wanted to be a lone. But truth be told I did it because of his aura, he has a real gentle one at that, because of how he made me feel when I was alone and in a dark place. How he made me laugh even after crying my eyes out in front of him. Because of the burning passion between us was like a raging sea. But here I am getting ahead of myself, hiya I'm A'nia Stones and I'm here to tell you the story of how a small gesture of kindness from a man who's thirteen years older than me made me realize there's more to life than being in a toxic relationship. So sit back and enjoy my whirlwind of a love life. Now let's start with the beginning of how I meet Josh Andrews.
It was a day where I had to go to my job which my boyfriend, which whom I've been with for going on 4 years now, absolutely hates due to the fact that I was gone for over twelve hours a day and he couldn't keep me within eyesight. The ride there was uninterrupted by the world around it. Getting out of my truck after sitting in it for ten extra minutes to smoke a blunt, I sprayed myself with my vanilla bean body mist and headed inside and clock in. After clocking in for the day I shoot my boyfriend a text telling him I was at work and he replied back after a few seconds, "okay baby I love you can I get some more bud please" frustrated I texted back "we don't have the funds right now to get some more just wait til I get paid" knowing this might upset him but I wasn't prepared for what he had to say next.
" You always say this shit. But you can go spend money on shit for you but when it comes to what I need I have to put myself on the back burner and for what? An ungrateful bitch like you! God I wish I never gotten with your ass you don't do shit for me, can never give me your body when I want it and never can satisfy my needs"
Heartbroken I shut my locker and went and sat down for the meeting wondering why I wasn't good enough for him. After sitting for about 10 minutes the meeting was done and we were dismissed to head to the floor to get started on the shift change and get pass downs from the leaving shift. Walking into the lab I greeted the morning shift of techs and asked them how the lines where running and if we have had any issues throughout the day and they simply said it was a smooth day and they didn't have any issues. After talking for a little bit longer they took their leaving and I told them my goodbyes. Sighing to myself I got busy printing out all of the paperwork when the first batch of cream came into the window from the creamer department. The guy who handed it in soon came around to the door and let himself in.
"Hey your new" was all he had said to me. I smiled and replied " yeah this is my first night on this side of the plant I just transferred over to take the old techs spot" he smiled at me and I turned my head away from him shyly due to the fact that he held eye contact with me while I spoke to him. I couldn't look men in the eyes due to Ash whom is my boyfriend. He yelled at me once when I did it in front of him and ever since then I stopped looking men in their eyes. He chuckled lightly to himself at my actions and then he sat down next to me while I was running the test to make sure his cream could be released to be packaged after about ten minutes the test came back good and I had turned to him to tell him that it was ready to be released. "Hey umm what's your name" I said shyly trying to avoid his gaze that has found it's way from his phone to my face. He smiled and laughed lightly before replying " Names Josh. Josh Andrews and what's your name new girl" he asked as his lips curled up into a sly smile and his gaze held my own "A'nia Stones" I smiled back and stuck my hand out to shake his, he took my hand in his and the first thing I noticed was how soft his hands were and how large they were compared to my own. " A'nia" he said my name and truly I liked the way it rolled off his tongue " it was nice to meet you and I hope you'll come back and see how I make the cream" he said with a soft smile resting on his face. Smiling at him I simply nodded my head and he left after that.
