Chapter 1 - The beginning

Long ago there was a war that raged between the two neighboring kingdoms of Norland and Grimhilld. Countless lives were lost and the lands were soaked in blood. The war had gone on for so long that not even one person could recall what started it so the citizens of both kingdoms plead with their rulers King Leon and King Brighton to end the war with no point. With the helpful pleas of every person in both countries the two kings came together and signed a peace treaty with the condition of marrying their children. After word spread the citizens both nobleman and commoners alike celebrated and danced together.

Not long after the peace treaty banquet King Leon was blessed with a son as his eldest and heir to the throne, Angelo. 5 years later he was blessed with twin daughters, Adoriann and Adrianna. They had dark silk like hair that resembled the color of a raven, their eyes glowed green like emeralds that complemented their light almost pale skin.

Around the same time King Brighton was also blessed with thee children. The eldest, Calista was betrothed to marry Angelo and become the future queen of Norland. The middle child, Hadrian, was made heir to the kingdom. The youngest, Maximus, was labeled a trouble maker by the time he could walk. They resembled their father just as the children of King Leon. They had bight blond hair and purple eyes that could be mistaken as the purest amethyst crystals in all of the lands.

Thanks to the peace treaty and the two kings who honored their words the children and all the citizens of the lands all lived in peace. The two countries developed trade and even helped redevelopment in areas that were most effected by the war. As years went by the children grew older and the two nations grew richer. Then the day of the wedding between Angelo and Calista came.

The ceremony was held in a church with many royals nobles from far and wide attending. The banquet was held in the Ruby palace. It was one of the grand inner palaces of the royal estate. The entire place was decorated in white flowers. The laughter and joy of everybody could be heard in every corner of the banquet hall. Explaining it into words didn't do how beautiful it was justice.
