I opened my eyes to find myself lying down on a bed. My gazes obviously went towards the ceiling first, which appeared white with a fan spinning slowly as it was pretty cold.
I removed the cover and sat up to realise that I was in the infirmary. I let out a sigh of relief while glancing around the empty infirmary. It was quite peaceful, but the frequently slow sound of the fan rotating above me was weird.
I was trying to make sense of what was happening to that point because the mind was a complete mess and I couldn't think straight. I was sweating slightly and my breathing was unnatural because of the dream I saw a few moments ago.
Everything was apparently fine. Though the intense pressure of dread again washed over me as I slowly recalled my predicament regarding Shiraishi and the contract.
I remember the feeling that washed over me when I realised what happened to me.
That was a weird dream I had.
