"When attacking with a weapon you can cause three types of damage. What are they?", the Blue asked while Archer was doing burpees.
"Bludgeoning, piercing and slashing."
"What you need to understand is that Spells do the same kind of damage as the weapon.", the Dragon said and the boy was caught by it. "Take an elemental bolt for example, it hits the target doing blugeoning or piercing on perfect hit and slashing on miss, but its known for its additional effect that is use the element, which can ignite, freeze, etc."
"Why is this important?"
"When you understand this you are able to create better weapons from your elemental attribute.", Archer's master said and from his hand a sharp thin rapier made of ice surged. "See?", the Dragon smiled. "This is achieved after a few training on three different fields. Elemental control, Blacksmith and Weapon knowledge."
