The Tyrannosaurus wasn't so dominant as any of the sabertooths on the area but they were extremely territorialist and had higher magical affinity. This made the dinossaur magically able to hurt this creature that was on the apex of its own race that was the Metal Claw Sabertooth.
Of course the other beasts weren't supposed to get anywhere nearby the Elven village because of the protector. And for its death it would pass a good time before the others be able to approach. But this wasn't the case for this Metal Claw Sabertooth that was learning from its victories and even started to learn how to control Magic.
Two out of the three eggs were already destroyed while the last one was hidden. Danielle and any of the other Elves could possible imagine what was happening and what was coming into their direction.
