Behind the little girl running was an owlbear. This creatures are normally found at a place covered with more trees which wasn't the case now. The people guarding the frontier saw her and her pursuer. The Warcroaks took the front while the Halflings started to use their Magic.
The frog people got their hands on the katanas and with a jump they were already between the girl and the monster. As the name says an Owlbear is half from each animal. Having two backstories this creature has similiatiries with Giant Owls and Bears. Most common was that they were born after the Crackle through this animals crossing. Other a little more evil is that someone made experiments and came with this creation.
