Old New Zeland. This place was now birthplace of a new race that was neutral to both Humans and monsters. Of course the monster attacked them without even giving a second chance but they'd rebuke with a lot of style. They were called the Halflings.
Halflings were most like Humans apart from their size. The most tall among them were about one meter tall. These creatures were known for three things. Hospitality. Food. Luck. They'd never close a door for a good natured person. Their food is most vegetarian but it contains most of the nutrients one need. And most things happen to them that is impossible to describe or analyze using common sense.
