"Ready.", Archer started.
"Get set.", John continued.
"Go.", Archer finished and both started with magical ranged attacks.
They were a part from a little more than ten meters. John was easily putting Shields with his Prana while attacking with his Magic. While this Archer was doing both with his Prana as he wanted to improve his Light Spear proficiency.
Archer was using his left hand to raise shields from the attacks and with his right hand multiple javelins of light were set flying into the enemy. John was doing the same but he had more options as he was attacking with Magic instead of Prana. John's control over the missiles were exceptional and he was getting further inside the opponent's shield every new attack.
"This won't turn out good for me.", Archer said and break his own shield that made it be applied over his skin instead.
