TMS found his way and made a copy inside of John's mind while Archer was saving his life. Together with this John awakened power from both Drakes that had their hearts inside of this body. The boy was probably a being much closer to Archer than any other person.
"How do you deal with this?", John asked.

"Look.", the boy was happy with his new powers and of course because he wasn't suffering from heart attacks anymore. But he was a little overconfident showing lightnings and flames to Archer as this powers came from the Drakes.
