Tristan dumbfoundedly stared at Summer's car, filled with paper bags, shoe boxes, and other kinds of stuff. He's aware that Summer bought a lot but he never thought she bought that much. It even hardly fits in the trunk. There's some in the backseat, too...
"You're staring at it for too long, did you forget to buy something?" Tristan glanced at Summer walking towards the driver's seat.
"No." He closed the trunk. "Just wondering."
"Wondering? Why?"
"Uh. Because... We're like shopping for our boyfriends."
"Pfft—" Summer snorted at Tristan's remark. His innocent look just made it sounds funny for her.
"I couldn't believe it. I thought I hide it flawlessly... Whoa... You're really a high skilled observant."
Tristan was taken aback by what she said. "What?... So, you mean..."
"Ahuh?" Summer was slightly swaying her body from side to side while her hands were intertwined behind her. With that playful eyes and smirk on her face, obviously, she was just teasing him...
"You... You have a boyfriend?"
Summer slammed her hands together, then pointed her two fingers at him. "You really got it!"
Tristan's shocked face turned into something that would definitely confuse you. Whether he was angry or upset? Not sure, his expressions were mixed up.
Summer blinked, waiting for his response... But what happened next, surprised her.
"You..." Tristan started. "You CRAZY YOUNG LADY!"
"It wasn't even 72 hours after we talked, you already have a boyfriend?! You also confessed to me not too long ago, and I just rejected you too—For my butt's sake, Summer. Please tell me you're not just using that man..."
"Wow... I didn't expect that."
"I'm serious here!"
Summer just chuckled. "Okay. Okay... Chill... Don't be too worked up, I'm just joking!"
Tristan paused. "You do?"
"Yes! Hahaha... Do you really think I can move on that easily? Oi... Are you underestimating my feelings for you, huh"
"That's not a good joke, Summer. I'm telling you."
"I'm sorry—wait a minute. Wait a minute... You're being suspicious here... Are you... Jealous just now, huh? Huh?" Summer teased while poking Tristan's side which annoyed him.
Tristan was brushing off Summer's hand while looking away to hide his mad red face. His heart couldn't take the intensity of her direct question. It may seem a joke in the way she delivered it, he just couldn't contradict since it was awfully true.
Jealousy instantly swallowed him whole as soon as he heard she had a boyfriend. He's not obviously in love, isn't he?
"L-Let's go home! I'm tired..." Tristan stammered, then he quickly got inside the car.
Summer was definitely amused by how Tristan behaved. Truthfully, he wasn't acting Trish anymore. He was out of the character and was now showing the real him which actually pleased her.
She really wanted to bond him as him. To be with someone she likes, without boundaries or any kind of walls that separate them. She was curious and willing to learn everything about him, every ounce of his being including his dark sides, good sides, all sides! She wanted to know him more.
Although Tristan was unaware of what's going on both in her mind and with the situation they're in, Summer still silently waiting for the right time. Until then, she will continue to make him feel relieved and freed from the chains even if in a secretive way.
Summer couldn't wear off her smile while staring at Tristan's figure through the tinted window of her car. Her heart was pounding like hell... She was genuinely satisfied with their date that she was the only one who knew it was a date.
Planned by her, arranged by her, and yeah... She's making the first move... Little by little...
Tristan rolled down the window and looked at Summer. "What. Are you gonna stand there till you take root?"
"Nope, boss. I'm coming... Calm down. Don't be mad." Summer joked then got into the driver's seat. She once again glanced at the front mirror to look at Tristan who was sitting in the backseat.
Their eyes locked, but Tristan averted it right away. "What?"
"Nothing. Why are you there?"
"I like it here."
"Are you my sulking girlfriend now?" Summer teased which made him recoil.
"N-No! Ugh. Summer, please just drive home!"
"Hahaha. Alright. Alright... You're really adorable."
"God. Shut up already"
"Hahaha. What? It's true."
"Drop me off, I'm gonna take a cab"
"Okay, I'll stop now." Summer grinned, Tristan just sighed out of frustration.
They were silent for a moment. Summer was still amused but she noticed Tristan's mood was not. She knew he was just embarrassed, well, it was vividly written on his face...
"Honestly... I didn't expect I will gonna buy this much." Summer glanced at him.
"I just planned to do a quick shop with you, but... I couldn't ignore the sparkling of your eyes."
"What am I, a puppy?"
"Yeah. A puppy who saw a lot of delicious treats." She tee heed.
"Having fun?"
"Come on. Drop that sour mood. I'm serious... Your eyes were sparkling. That's why I bought them... I know those are your likes and don't you dare deny it"
Tristan didn't protest anymore. Yeah, she was right. If he wasn't pretending as Trish, he probably grabbed them all too. He may be sound thick face by this, but he was glad that Summer got them. The thing is, Summer literally bought everything and it's quite too much. However, he deeply appreciates it.
"Thank you." He shyly uttered, his eyes were on the road. Summer just clicked her tongue with a beaming smile formed on her lips.
"Look at me and say it again"
"You're starting it again. Cut it out! Focus on the road"
"Hahaha. You really are so c—"
"I will definitely snap your head, Summer"
"Okay. Okay." Summer pursed her lips but still smiled.
'Oh ghad, Tristan... You make me fall in love with you even more'

Trish rushed to the door as she heard the doorbell rang. Her shirt was covered by the splash of paints and her hair was tied up into a messy bun. She just got done painting her another art.
"Oh my God!" She exclaimed after opening the door, revealing the gloomy aura and spooky vibe of Tristan. "What war did you dive into?"
Trish's brows furrowed when she noticed the paper bags hanging on both of his arms and the piles of boxes behind him; he carried 2 of them.
"Did you hoard or something?"
"Stop asking and just let me in." Tristan glared.
Trish called some of their maids to help him carry the stuff. After keeping them, Tristan flopped to the sofa like a body left by a soul.
"Summer is no joke. I'm exhausted... Oh damn, I miss you my lovely couch!" Trish winced at her brother slightly losing his sanity.
She went to the paper bags left on the other couch and peeked. Her eyes widened as she saw what's inside. "Uh. Why are these..."
"I don't know either. She said she also likes those stuff"
"Huh? When—" Trish stopped as something came up to her mind. "Yeah, right! She had this boyish side, hehe. Uhm. You bought a lot."
"Mhm... I could even start a business with those"
"Hahaha... You wanna try it?"
"Nah." Tristan buried his face onto the pillow. Trish just smiled at him.
Even though he was exhausted, she knew he enjoyed it more than anything.
"So, how was it? Did you have fun?"
"Of course." Tristan sluggishly answered then got up. "I should rest. I'm beat."
Trish just nodded then she watched him make his way to his room. She once again smiled and thought,
'Summer, you're really good at this'
