Chapter 86 - Take-off

Ji-hun was holding her hands delicately yet firmly, as if somebody had told him that if his hands lost their grip, he was going to lose her forever. He was not willing to take a chance on that, even though it had been his own brain that had come up with the idea. He didn't have control of his tears anymore; they were flowing without permission, and his face was a mess. The attendants looked on with concern, but he couldn't be bothered to care about anything right now, his own mind was busy scolding him for his stupidity. 'How dense had he been, to not only try this futile idea and test his Destiny, but also be convinced that it would work?!'

'He had known from the very beginning, that he found her special, and he had felt a strange but comforting connection to her. He had fallen for her a long time ago- all his decisions and plans about not meeting her were bound to fail; and maybe, deep down somewhere in his own heart, he had been rooting for them to fail as well.
