Nitya knew now that she was dead meat, as she had escaped to buy herself snacks without informing her brother. She quickened her pace; a part of her was sure that her panicked brother must be so close to getting an announcement made by the 'Lost and Found' department of the airport that his little sister was missing- no matter that his little sister was, in fact, an adult!
'She was supposed to just buy two things and return to the waiting area quickly, and hopefully her brother and Atharv would stay asleep- such a foolproof plan to avoid getting caught! But then she had noticed that the person standing there was having a problem in placing his order, so she had simply gone ahead to help him. As she played the events back, she realised that she had felt a tug just as she had turned away. It felt like she had something in common with that person, had she met him before?' She pondered, even as her steps led her farther and farther away from him.
