Ji-hun looked at Dae Jung's bewilderment and that was when he suddenly started laughing. He didn't how his feelings had suddenly become stable either, but he was still feeling some kind of emptiness within. However, he realized that he did not have enough time to evaluate his emotions before his best friend would erupt into flames because of overthinking. He decided that he would try and make it seem like a prank, the only way to stop the spiral was to make Dae Jung believe that he wasn't serious.
