It had been almost six hours, and Nitya had not talked to or answered any of Ji-hun's messages once after she had left, saying that she was going because she loved him.
And the worst part was that Ji-hun knew that nothing about what she was doing was wrong; she had the right to express her anger. If he were to be very honest, he had expected much worse than this- but now, in reality, he was not even able to bear this magnitude of coldness in her behaviour towards him.
It was not that they had never gone without talking for six hours- it had even gone on for as much as one or two days sometimes. But at that time, both of them had been assured that they were alright, that they loved and trusted each other, and nothing could come between them.
