After Nitya and Ruchi had left the room, Ji-hun quickly turned towards Mehul, thinking that he needed to finish the talk with him as soon as possible and dash to Nitya…his Nitya. He needed to clear things out with her, because as far he had known her by now, she really had difficulties in dealing with her emotions. And for a person who faced difficulty while dealing with their usual emotions, accepting something that was emotionally attached to their core, is very difficult; and he could never leave alone in this difficult state.
So he needed to clear his head in order to explain his end of the situation and present the proposal he was there for.
