As soon as the memories flashed in front of Zacharie's eyes, he remembered that he had to hurry back, no matter how dark it was already, or how dark it was going to get.
With his determination shining through his eyes, he turned to Jasper.
"Jasper, I can't wait here. I guess something is not right; everything was going completely fine till we entered the boundary of the Healer Kingdom. Because as far as I remember, there should be enough time left for the night to fall, for us to make it home."
Saying this, he hopped back onto his horse without waiting for Jasper's reply, patted the horse's back gently, coaxing it to move while leaning over and humming a soft tune in its ear.
He knew that Jasper must also have understood that something was really fishy, and so he followed Zacharie without any further argument.
